We have a simple human trash can in our kitchen. its stainless steel and our floor is tile. We really like it but it jumps all over the place, and I feel like I keep moving it forward but then it gradually slides to the wall and marks the wall. How do you keep your trash can in place so it doesnt hit the wall? I tried putting some non slide tabs under it but its not completely flat on the bottom so that doesnt work well

Could you put a small mat underneath it? Like a small welcome rug/doormat?

Put the cabinet liners underneath - the foam kind. You can cut them to size.

@Mamaof2: I just saw wedge piece on amazon that is sold for this purpose. I'lll show it to DH and see if he can cut a piece of wood for this

What if you used puffy paint and outlined the bottom of it with that? I use puffy paint to make kid socks non skid.

@SweetCaroline: interesting... I would have to look up what puffy paint is. The issue with the base of this trash can is that its hollowed out so kind of weird to paint or attach anything to.

we have a small piece of wood cut to the shape of the can on one side, and flat on the other- so it holds the can in place against the wall.
