I am leaning towards getting R this one for Christmas. Besides being a pain in the butt to put together, pros and cons? Does it hold up well? LO likes it? How much did you pay for yours? Going to start watching for deals.

We have the slightly bigger one (Corner Kitchen in Espresso) and we LOVE it. Its really nicely made. I love that it's wooden and really realistic looking. C really likes it and plays with it a lot. I think it's going to last a long time.
We picked the Corner kitchen because it was slightly taller than the rest. C is super tall and the retro kitchen just seemed to small for her.

@Smurfette: we have the retro red kitchen and LOVE it! It definitely is holding up well.

We have this exact kitchen and M loves it. She "fills" her sippy cups in the sink and then gives them to her baby. And she steals my pots and pans and puts them in her kitchen. It's adorable.

We have it! It is super annoying to put together, and the phone was hard for DS1 to reach/put back initially which frustrated him, but otherwise it's great

We have the retro red kitchen like @littlek: and we love ours too. Really nice quality wood. It wasn't too hard to put together, but did take me a fair amount of time because there are a lot of steps!!
If you're also looking into play food, I really, really like the quality (and price!) of the Learning Resources brand. We have that brand and also the KidKraft brand, and the Learning Resources brand is definitely nicer.

@swedishfish: That is what started this post! But by the time to pay shipping with them, it isn't much cheaper then Amazon.

@Smurfette: Woot puts them up sometimes too. We got ours on Kids Woot for $135 with shipping when it was going for $210 on Amazon.

@mrsjyw: That isn't bad but I think I am going to wait a couple months. Christmas seems so far but still so close.

@lawbee11: Hahahahaha, sad, but so true
I love that one, it's so cute! I think DH and I are going to make L a kitchen for Christmas, and I really like the look of this one.
I also really love that mixing bowl set on top of the kitchen - I think I've seen it and a similar blender on Zulily before?
