Today has been something else! I'm thinking some nachos are in order
What would you do tonight if today was truly dreadful?

I'd eat a healthy-ish dinner, so that I wouldn't feel quite so guilty about the junky snacks that I'd inhale later (chips and dip!).... plus wine, a good movie or book, and an early bedtime.

I'd order take out and skip chores for the night. Hope your day looks up soon!

Bottle of wine. Or several glasses of bourbon. And some sort of dessert...ice cream or chocolate...

A fancy cupcake from the grocery store and a bath for some me time.

@Mrs. Tiger: thanks. My move fell through because of my crappy manager, I didn't sleep last night, and I feel nauseous unless I am eating, and I have the worst headache. I'll just have to keep eating I think takeout it is!
@NorCalWayfarer: I already had two ice creams! Wine sounds amazing...
@erinpye: I would love some wine, especially if it puts me to sleep.
@Synchronicity: your list sounds great. I might ask DH to get some chips and queso...

Ice cream. I have a whole pint I plan on devouring tonight while watching my shows after kids are in bed.

Starbucks, a good book, and a bath, usually. In reality, the most effective thing is to do something productive, preferably something that's creative. But usually when I'm in a crappy mood I want to be lazy, even when I know it won't help. Sorry you're dealing with crap!

Since it's summertime I would say a mojito with our fresh mint, a snack, and laying on the couch ignoring all chores with DH.

A Starbucks treat! I also find some quiet time to be really helpful. I hope tomorrow is better!

Ha! I had a rough day. I ordered a pizza and had a corona at 4pm. Then I put the babe down for a nap and got some work done, stuffed cloth diapers and washed all my pump stuff and bottles. I'm feeling more organized and less bummed. I might have another beer.

@youboots: nice! Sounds like you were able to turn it around. I think part of the problem is I got some not so great news on no sleep and I am feeling really sick today.
@winter_wonder: thanks a lot. It is DD's bday tomorrow so I hope I feel better physically! Then the other stuff won't seem so rough...
thanks everyone! I took DD to the garden and then to get birthday cake and surprises, so that was really nice. I feel like I have the flu... so I bought wine... hopefully tomorrow I will feel better and have some!

It has been a really bad day today for me. It didn't help me at all but I did drink a glass of old white wine that's been sitting in the fridge. Argh. Just psychologically feel like OK I did something for myself. But no it didn't help.

That was me yesterday - we ordered takeout (pizza and salad) and I didn't do anything productive in the evening!!

Wine & late night in-n-out is usually my "bad day ritual"!

Wine or beer (or I might make myself a gin and tonic), order pizza, maybe ice cream, and hug my dogs.
