My 3.5 year old just found a Little People lift the flap book and is obsessed with them now. I dug up a few more for her and she is all about them. Does your LO like lift the flap books? If so, what are some other good ones besides Little People? I like the ones with thicker flaps, so my youngest can't rip them. Something educational is nice, as well!

My DD really likes the Karen Katz books. We have the belly button one, and a bunch of the holiday ones which always make for good presents!

Second Karen Katz! Tho now at 15 mo DD more or less out grew them. But she looooved them!

LO loves Karen Katz, and I would add "Dear Zoo" to my recommendations list, particularly for a bigger kid.
We also have this Sophie the Giraffe book that makes sounds when you lift the flap. This was a gift from grandparents, and I was skeptical at first, but it is a pretty great book!

LO is obsessed with Karen Katz, but those flaps are very thin!
There's also the Dinosaur series, like "How Do Dinosaurs Laugh Out Loud?" that are pretty cute, and do contain information about dinosaurs.

LO loves the Karen Katz books, Dear Zoo, and Where's Spot but they're all geared toward a younger crowd.
I loved Eric Carle's The Secret Birthday Message, which is geared toward an older audience, when I was little. It has pages shaped like stars, and houses, and such which you LO might find kind of lift the flap-esque.

DS has a bunch of lift the flap books that he likes. He has Karen Katz, Spot books, a Winnie-the-pooh one, and a Crayola one. He was given some truck ones that were awesome (I think the title was Things that go) but he was given them when he was maybe 18 months and he ripped all the flaps

Usborne books makes a great line of lift the flap books, peek inside books, and slide & see interactive books. My friend just hosted a book party through them and I ordered some amazing stuff!

We love dear zoo and the little people ones.
Something someone else taught me. We use clear packing tape to reinforce the flaps. You can't see it and it makes them far stronger.

@Bao: you can make your own flap books if you're worried about your youngest ripping them---just use post it notes over the picture as the flap. My oldest loves making her own! Good practice for lifting the flap gently too.
