Hey all! I need your book suggestions! I teach Modern World Literature to seniors in HS, and I am looking for a new book. Must be published after 1965. I already have The Kite Runner, Life of Pi, Maus, and How The Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents. I am looking to replace The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian, which is too easy for them.
Any thoughts? Thanks!!!

The Master and Margarita would probably be my first choice. (Written before your date, but published after.) Maybe something by Murakami or Atwood would work.

Oh yes, @honeybear: ! The Handmaid's Tale by Atwood would be a good one.
What about something by Gabriel Garcia Marquez? Love in the Time of Cholera or One Hundred Years of Solitude.
