I need some suggestions on books for my husband to read regarding what to expect during pregnancy. He is extremely clueless! Humor books would be a plus to keep him interested! I would like him to understand why I'm tired and hungry

My husband has been reading The Expectant Father by Armin Brott. It was recommended to him by a friend, and so far he's found it pretty helpful. I'm not sure it's really LOL funny but he said there are funny comments inserted here and there.

My husband is not a big reader but he enjoys a chapter of Be Prepared. A Practical Handbook for New Dads every once in a while. I would definitely suggest it!

@mrs jw: same with my husband, I just can't stay focused on a book. But he really needs to figure this all out, he's pretty clueless when it comes to pregnancy knowledge

I found that hubby had no interest in reading books, so I'd send him a weekly e-mail from a pregnancy week by week website that had a section that said "Ideas for dad" at the bottom. It gave him a little insight into what was going on, it was a short 2 minute read once a week, and he doesn't mind reading them at all.

I use pregnancyguideonline.com-- the big sell for me was in week 6 it suggested that dad pick up the slack and do some housework because mom just might be to tired! lol! Later on it also suggests he takes you out to dinner, and stuff like that. I'm all about planting seeds like that! lol!
