This is the Amelia dress I am stalking for - I have seen it in Navy/White and Pink-Coral/.White...I think its $60...I love it...

I've bought a few really plain things - black leggings, a black and white Irma top, and a gray randy tee with a striped sleeve. I'm
A huge fan of the cut, the quality for the price and the leggings are thick and comfy. But the majority is not my style at all.

@Tidybee: I agree...I think the quality is actually pretty good...the leggings are the best I have found for the price...and ridiculously soft...

@Mrs D: I know - the tops are a little expensive but $20 for non see through leggings is kind of a steal to me!

@Tidybee: Yes - the classic T I am ok with the price on but the Irma put me off a bit. I LOVE it - so I am ok with it in the long run but at first it was a bit hard to swallow...

I'm a plain jane so I don't love most of the leggings. but I've gotten what I've paid for so far with cheap leggings - saggy crotch, pilly, quick wear. So I'm really hoping that these leggings are as awesome as everyone says!!

I'm resurrecting an old thread but I went to a Lularoe pop up boutique (after much hesitation because I am not a leggings and tunic kind of gal nor do I like "loud" prints.) I walked away really impressed by the quality and the way the clothes felt and how flattering they were. I ended up with two dresses! I am interested in their tops because they are so soft but I couldn't justify spending more money. I did try on the leggings and they were awesome, but maybe for around the house or something.

@Mrs D: Is that you or a rep? Whoever it is, that dress looks amazing on, great figure!

@Mrs D: that looks SO awesome on you!

    @simplyfelicity: fun print!

A lot of the prints aren't my style. But they do have solids and subdued stripes. I got a pair of leggings at a online pop up. I'm a fan!
I'm currently coveting a Cassie skirt, Amelia dress and maxi. 😁

@simplyfelicity: If it's flattering on, I would definitely buy. Honestly, I have never heard of them before this thread.

    @Kimberlybee: The leggings?

  12. Mrs D

    grapefruit / 4545 posts

@Kimberlybee: @regberadaisy: oh ladies how I wish that was my body! I hope to look like that some day!

I have gotten another pair of leggings and another irma...they are my maternity leave and weekend wardrobe!! I have a Cassie skirt I'll be wearing tomorrow for mothers day!

Those who aren't into the patterns I recommend finding multi consultant events on FB...always loads of solid/stripe/simple geo patterns...I only have one pattern piece...just not my style...

I went to a pop-up recently and I got a Nicole. It's really cute. I am saving it for a relatively casual wedding over Memorial Day weekend. I also got a pair of black leggings and they aren't quite as amazing as everyone says IMO but I have a print pair on the way so I hope those are cute.

@Mrs D: hey! Totally random, but did you ever find that dress you were looking for? If not, I have it and am totally willing to part with it! I have only worn it once. Pm me if you want!

I've seen so many FB friends looking so pretty in this brand, but it's not one I've heard of down here (in Aus!)

Are they flattering for plus sized folks? The dresses do look like they'd be great for a baby bump too!

  16. simplyfelicity

    cantaloupe / 6634 posts

@jaguar: Definitely! They go up to 3x I think and lots of ladies wear it for maternity clothes.

@Tidybee: Thanks! The pattern is a bit much for me but I thought it would be perfect for an upcoming bridal shower.

    @Apples4Teacher: I did find it...but thank you!!!

@jaguar: I def think some of the styles are great for us curvy ladies! I was a 10/12 pre-preg...I lived in their leggings, classic and irma tee's outside of work at the end of my pregnancy. Now post preg I am digging their skirts which have nice wide bands to help tuck/conceal my sometimes muffin top!

I will say---I have an Amelia...it is not so flattering right now...it will be great if I get to my goal weight. It might just be me being self conscious...but I feel with my busty chest and not so trim post baby waist I kinda look like a balloon in it!

So now I can officially vote. I just got my first lularoe today. (Someone very very close to me had an online party so I felt kinda obligated). I'm very pleasantly surprised.
I voted that I love it, but to be clear - most of the prints aren't for me. But the styles/cuts and simpler patters/colors are great. I got the Classic T, the Randy T (baseball style), and the Julia dress (in a more muted pattern than most of their stuff).
Soft and seems well made. It's all very flattering. I was afraid the two tees would be boxy and the dress would be clingy or baggy in the wrong places. But it honestly all fits like the higher end casual brands I get at Nordstrom Rack (Splendid, for example).
Very happy with it! Will I buy more? Prob only if another close friend or family member has a party and I want to support them (and I'm usually very turned off by direct sales. This is my first purchase ever).

How is your Luluroe holding up? It seems like the quality is so thin but maybe I am wrong. LO has had a pair of pants for a few months but she rarely wears them.

I looove their leggings. I have a few solid ones that I wear out regularly. The printed ones, I'll only wear at home to lounge in.

I also own a few cassie skirts and one perfect tee. I do think the shirts are overpriced.

I didn't vote because I am neutral. I have lots of friends who sell it and did buy a randy. I LOVE the shirt I got, but if I wasn't supporting a friend I probably wouldn't have spent as much as I did on a shirt.

I am not a fan of most of their funky prints but I have seen some super cute leggings that you can't get anywhere else.

@808love: mine has held up well! I hear all those stories about holes but haven't seen any!

My DD LOVES her "soft" leggings and would wear them every day if she had enough (she has 3).

I have leggings, randy, and Irma - bought a carly but it looks so awful on me!

  27. mediagirl

    hostess / wonderful persimmon / 25556 posts

@808love: I bought a few pieces to support some friends. I have one pair of leggings I have worn 4 times, the seam is coming apart at the bottom of the legs. Also, the Irma necklines are so flimsy, they get stretched out really easily. I won't buy more Irma's.

I finally bought a couple pieces of leggings and a shirt to see what the deal is. The leggings are soft and I think the price is fair, but I was hoping they would help suck in the gut a bit more. So I think I'm going to stick to more athletic leggings because of that.

I got a classic T that fits well, but I agree that the shirts are overpriced so not sure if I would get anymore. Lots of the other designs have really high necklines that would not be flattering on me so I'm steering clear.

@Mrs. Yoyo: That is my problem with them also. There is no belly support and after 2 babies and csections I need it! I do have some high waisted undies that do the trick for them.

I have 3 pairs of leggings that I do love. They are all super tame prints or black. But they are comfy!

My Cassie skirts have held up fine. One is the thicker material and one is the thinner material. No issues and I wear them to work all the time. The fit is nice for work and comfy. They aren't super professional (like for a formal office environment) but I'm a teacher so it's good for me.

I bought a pair of leggings (plan black) that I feel meh about. Not my favorite fit, probably won't be buying any more LLR any time soon.

The leggings don't work for me! The regular ones are too tight so I bought a pair of tc ones and they are way too big!

  32. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@junebugsmama: Did you buy in solid? The solid pair I have fits smaller than the printed ones. The printed ones fit over my 35 week bump but not the solid ones.

  33. mrsbubbletea

    nectarine / 2821 posts

@snowjewelz: I have tried three pairs. All solid. Solid were the smallest, and the second I put them in they got holes. The second pair was still the regular size but heathered, and it had more stretch but was still a bit too tight. So I decide to try a TC pair, also ended up being heathered, and they are super baggy in the inner thigh/crotch area. Very comfortable for wearing around the house!

  34. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@junebugsmama: Yeah, I found this out too b/c I was like man am I TC?! I wear like size S clothes! But the heathered solid is so tight on me (tho I did buy it while pregnant). So the printed ones are soooo much stretchier!

I don't really get the appeal.
I have a pair of leggings. I bought OS but maybe I need TC because they are like crops on me.
I was disappointed with the fabrics too, I expected cotton not poly. Kinda meh about that.

I guess I just don't get it. I want to support my friends but it feels like emperors new clothes to me.

@808love: I have quite a collection now, since I found the re-sale community on Facebook.

    I have:

    3 Nicoles
    3 Perfects
    1 Classic
    2 Cassies
    5 Irmas
    1 Julia
    Leggings (2 crazy patterns, 5 solids - 3 were freebies, 2 Halloween)

DD has 3 pairs of leggings.

My leggings have held up well - no holes or piling. I wear them regularly - but since I have a few pairs its not repeated wear. DD wears her star ones at least once a week - they are showing wear mostly in her knees - the kid falls all the time so I am not surprised. Her other pairs are holiday so much less wear.

I feel MEH about the classic. I LOVE my perfect T's - so comfortable and they were amazing for nursing (slits up the sides). The irmas are nice for wearing with the leggings. In general I think the tops are overpriced.

I absolutely LOVE my Nicoles and Cassies - they are my work staples. I wear a Nicole and an Open cardi from Target almost every other day to work. I think I could put either on with a blazer to dress it up for almost anything.

Once I lose some more weight I will pick up another Julia and maybe an Ana for summer.

Not my style (although I've only really seem the super crazy printed leggings and flowy shirt styles) I also hate when people selling things clog up my Facebook feed so I usually hide posts and leave these groups.

  39. petunia354

I love my black leggings and I have a couple julias but the quality is just meh for me and the sizing and different materials drives me insane. Some things are tts and others fit 1-2 sizes big....what?! And the return policies suck so I'm pretty much commited to buying something that I have no idea if it will fit. I have 2 irmas that are two different materials and fit completely different! And the crazy prints just aren't my style, I like more classic neutral stuff that I can mix and match and get more wear out of.

I tried a pair of leggings and don't get the appeal at all. Not flattering on, and I have a pair I paid $10 from somewhere else that seem exactly the same.

I bought a couple of Randys, but one is holding up well and the other is not - they seem to be made of different fabrics.

I recently bought 2 dresses -Amelia and Nicole - and I think they are really well made and very flattering! I'll def buy more.
