I've been invited to looooots of LulaRoe parties lately--98% of it is not my style, but I did finally buy a solid Cassie skirt (I own LOTS of pencil skirts, so I decided to check one out).
What do you guys think? Dare to Wear? Or What Not to Wear?

These pictures are definitely not the best I've seen! One of my FB acquaintances sells it and always looks cute, but I've never seen anything for me...

My friends love it but i think its overpriced. I would probably wear the dresses and that's it.

@Mrs Green Grass: people go insane over their leggings. They are usually way too busy for me, but I haven't seen any in person. I also don't really wear leggings as pants, haha

I have leggings, a classic tee, an irma tee, Cassie skirt and Julia dress.
The leggings and ts are solids...the skirt and dresses I waited and watched for patterns I liked. Ultimately I got a floral Cassie which I adore and a striped Julia which was a bit snugg (found out I was preggo 2 days after ordering).
Love the softness of the fabric but I need simple materials so I have to hold out for just the right prints.
It's not a bargain but the pieces seem to be if decent quality!

@Truth Bombs: I agree. I don't like it when friends try to sell me shit.

I just opt out of direct sales 100% of the time so honestly I have not even looked at for that reason alone.

I had never heard of it, but based on those pictures- it's not the MOST atrocious clothing I've ever seen but there are way too many cute clothes in the world to settle for anything that's shown there.

I've only heard of it on HB, and never seen it before these pics were posted. Not my style, but I'm not trendy at all, so maybe this is what is currently trendy?

I haven't heard of this company before but a lot of coworkers wear this style or wore it last year. I am not a fan of most of it but I do like the look of the Cassie Skirt.

I've never heard of it and I'm not a fan of what's pictured here, honestly. It's just... too much going on

Never heard of it- but I can see the appeal. I think my sister would LOVE the leggings, and I would probably wear that navy Nicole dress.

I have several pairs of leggings and love them. So comfortable! I'm interested in trying the Amelia dress but haven't found a pattern I love yet.

I could understand if it was your style and you were a SAHM wearing those clothes all the time. But for me to wear maybe once a week, its not worth the cost. And I would only be interested in the solid colored things, I dont like the prints at all.
grapefruit / 4545 posts
The prints in the picture above are pretty misleading.
At least the girl I buy from often has an assortment of solids, stripes, polka dots and some Moroccan looking patterns that are nice.
Some of the leggings are in crazy patterns - but I only buy solid color leggings!
I havnt found the prices to be that bad. Leggings $22, T's low $20's, tunic long sleeved tees $30....skirts $30, dresses $39.

@Anagram: I thought this was a name thread lol. Never heard of the clothing brand, based on the pics doesn't look like my style.

I know this is an older post, but I'm interested to see if anyone else has a response. I'm invited to a couple Lularoe groups myself, and I don't know anything about the clothes.

My neighbor just started selling these. I think they are awful leggings.
eggplant / 11287 posts
I think it's pretty ugly. I am in a couple LulaRoe FB groups and the seller posts leggings that have nail polish on them, or hair dryers, or fish, or gummy candies. Like the strangest patterns.
I DO have a pair of loud Christmas leggings from Lula....like an ugly Christmas sweater, only leggings.
Also, I think the plain Irma tops are cute. Not a fan of anything else.

@Ra: Thats not too bad. How much does something like that cost?
cherry / 193 posts
The fitness group I'm in is obsessed with the leggings! They're not see through, even when you squat or bend
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@Ra: Yea thats what I thought. I was telling my friend that and she was shocked. I think the less structured more t-shirt style stuff is cheaper but for that price I would go to a department store and get a nice work dress.

so i actually was just over my friends house and she showed me her lulroe stuff and i tried it on. its comfy (super soft) and somewhat flattering. I love the dresses esp the ones with the quarter sleeeves (i always have a hard time finding them!) . i was impressed with how you can wear a dress/shirt a couple of different ways. but the prices were to much for me
pineapple / 12526 posts
I love how soft the leggings are. They're really comfortable. But yeah, a lot of the prints are fugly.
grapefruit / 4545 posts
@loveisstrange: I stick with solids and stripes for the most part! I just can't stomache some of the patterns...
pineapple / 12526 posts
@Mrs D: me too! But I do have a pair that has cats all over them.... Because I'm a crazy cat lady. Hahaha
hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts
I've heard amazing things about the leggings. I would get them in black but that's it!
grapefruit / 4545 posts
@loveisstrange: I mean when the perfect pair comes along you gotta go w it!!! I did kind of love some of the valentines ones...
@winniebee: I got black ones in the one size...since I am 9 mos preggo I treated myself to a pair of tall & curvy ones in teal and have actually been surprised how much use I have gotten out of them! Plus - I mean I'm 9 mos preggo people can cut me some slack on my outfits at this point...
I have m eye out for an Amelia I saw in navy/white stripe...I think it could be a great all purpose spring/summer dress!

@BrandNewMom: Im so glad you posted this! I've been wondering how'd they would fare for lifting!

I love their leggings-- I have quite a few patterns but I'm pretty particular on them! I'm 24 weeks pregnant now and they still fit fantastic- and since I'm short, the rise is plenty high enough to cover my bump
I found the Irma tops to run a little weird in the sleeves-- so I prefer the classic Tee- and gravitate toward solids there
hostess / watermelon / 14932 posts
I just bought a couple pairs of leggings and a "Nicole" dress. I'll post a picture when it comes in it's just black. Hoping it'll work for a wedding I have to go to this summer. It was $45.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
Eh, it's not completely my style and I often don't even spend this much on clothes either.
