@bhbee- Good luck today with your IUI!! Thinking about you!
@LindsayInNY @sandy @CupQuakeWalk: I'm excited for you guys to test this weekend! We need some more graduates.

@doxielove: Good! Had really bad heartburn/indigestion last night but that's been it. We're meeting up with friends tomorrow night for March Madness so I might test in the morning, just in case? The spotting/brown stuff stopped but that might be due to the progesterone?
And, for an overall update, I have an initial consultation scheduled with a RE in two weeks. Their office is literally a 10 minute walk from home which is super convenient. Given that nothing has been wrong thus far, I don't know if I want to stay with my ob/gyn going forward. I don't know what her recommendation would be yet as to treatment but I won't be able to hide frequent appointments into Manhattan either. Obviously, I hope I won't need the appointment though

@LindsayInNY: I hope you won't need that RE appointment, either Rooting for you, as always! It's probably good to have the RE appointment scheduled, just in case!

AFM, NTNP has been going exceptionally well this cycle. Even though in the past I never flat out told my husband when I would be ovulating, I think he could always tell by me taking my temperature and taking opk tests every day (even if I tried to hide them!) Now that he doesn't see any of that, he has no clue when I'm potentially fertile, which takes the pressure off of him. We actually BD TWO days in a row (a huge feat for us!) Not that I'm actually optimistic that we're going to get KU natually after all this time - but still!!

@doxielove: @littlek: thanks ladies! All done here, now we wait! I definitely felt the hope creep up on me today.

@sarahnicole218: so glad things went well with your doc! Sounds like you have a great plan in place

@doxielove: Good! I'm glad that things are going well with you. Sometimes you need a break from TTC.
@sandy: Update???

@doxielove: Your NTNP experience sounds like a dream. If we're aren't KU this month (doubt it), then we are taking a break for the next couple months and I hope it really helps DH with the pressure he's been feeling.
I'm 8dpo and here's why I DON'T think I'm pregnant. I had crazy cramps and throbbing pains in my breasts yesterday and the day before. I've had a creamy CM, been bloated, and felt super duper tired. And I thought, "wow, if this continues, that's a lot of hopeful symptoms!" And then, this morning...though I'm still really tired...NOTHING! No cramps, no bloating, no tender BBs. I feel like I do every month the week before AF. Oh well, my prescription for Met came in and I'm ready to continue focusing on losing weight!

@littlek: DH came home last night from his trip and I wanted to test soooo badly this morning but i didn't. I have one test left in the house so I'm going to try and save it for Sunday (he leaves again Sunday night). My OB's office called - he doesn't want me to start the clomid bc 13.3 is high. He says next step is check the tubes and schedule a HSG. I'm also seeing my regular doc about my thyroid the first week of April (labs are next week). In the past my numbers have been way lower (.9 and 2.5) so hopefully she'll have something helpful to offer. I just want it to work out this cycle so I don't have to think about it. My temps are up and down but still above the cover line so I'm still very hopeful. And so far no spotting today

@AmeliaBedilia: Your job sounds like it can be great!! I would love a 4-day work week. And your BD timing gives you a fighting chance. Don't lose hope!

@bhbee: You had your IUI today?!?! Hooray! Are you on bed rest for a few days now?

@doxielove: It sounds like you are having a really nice plan in place. Can you please tell me what "AFM" means? So sorry, so dumb today.

@LindsayInNY: I also hope you don't need the appointment! But if you do, it can't hurt to go to the RE and see what he/she says. You can always then make the decision of who you stick with going forward.

@sarahnicole218: Don't lose hope. I think the majority of pregnant girls do not ever see symptoms of the pregnancy during their TWW.

@sandy: I'm excited for you to test, but understand wanting to wait until Sunday. It sounds like your doctors are being great and proactive! Can you please remind me how many cycles you have been TTC?
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@MrsMcD: nah IUI is just like an improved, more direct version of BD. they have you lay down for 15 min so you don't have to fight gravity but after that it doesn't matter. and we're supposed to BD on our own tonight and tomorrow to cover our bases. really hoping something sticks!

@doxielove: Hahahaa. I seriously couldn't figure it out for the life of me. NTNP does seem like a great option to slip into the tiring TTC lifestyle. I'm sort of trying to "not try not prevent" myself right now. I didn't force my husband to wake up before I went to work so we could squeeze in a BD. I'm just going to let it happen when it happens this month. Its tough on everyone when BD is "forced" like that for so many months.

@bhbee: Thanks for explaining it to me a bit. I really hope this works for you, too. Fingers crossed!!!

@sandy: I'm pretty sure i'm testing tomorrow. Not to tempt you but, just so you know, since I think we're cycle twinies
I'll be anywhere from 10-12 dpo. I think more like 10. I am using a FRER because I don't want to play the squinty game.
I don't feel hopeful though. If it is negative, i'll be out of tests and just wait until af is late.

@MrsMcD: For real. I've found the more disinterested in BD I am now, the more dh wants it. Wtf? So much for coercing sex by throwing fits all these months (sexxxxxxy!)
coconut / 8475 posts
@doxielove: lol! This was last night. DH was finally like, "i'm ovulating" and then I gave in because I felt bad. I gave him pity sex, I am sure he's given me plenty of pity sex too. *so romantic!*

@CupQuakeWalk: hahaha on the I'm ovulating, when they copy it just points out how unromantic our tactics have become, oh dear!

@CupQuakeWalk: @sandy: I think I was with you girls... I'm down for Sunday but might POAS tomorrow since we're going out for basketball watching at night.

@LindsayInNY: @CupQuakeWalk: @sandy: Once you guys all get your BFP this saturday.. don't forget about us....
coconut / 8475 posts
@LindsayInNY: let's just do it. I'm done questioning.
@littlek: Oh man, you have no idea. getting the BFP is not going to make me all giddy. I will not be 100% happy until I SEE AND HEAR a heartbeat. I have gone through the other MC and constant fear during E's first trimester, so getting the bfp is step 1 for me. I will still be hanging around here until I get reassurance from an u/s to be honest.

@MrsMcD: i think this is cycle 8 for me (i had the short 15 day cycle last time)
cantaloupe / 6687 posts
@LindsayInNY: @CupQuakeWalk: ahhhh! Okay, I will really think about using my last test tomorrow. It's a digital though so I'm scared it won't be sensitive enough. I'm getting all anxious thinking about it. FX for you ladies!!!!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3938 posts
@sandy: Oh gees... I wouldn't even count that short cycle. I like all of the tests you are getting done. I just had blood work done earlier this week that is testing for a few fertility related things. I really like your doctor's approach. I think hsg sounds like a great next step if you have to get to that point.
