Anyone have any recommendations? My only friends who have used them have never had babies...I’m assuming the fit is different? I’m expecting my first postpartum AF any day now (🙄
ETA: looking for brand recommendations, in case that wasn’t clear. Since when are there so many?!

I just bought a saalt cup. Haven’t used it yet, but it seems nice! I used this website for research and recommendations. They have a quiz too, which was very helpful!

The merula cup is one size fits all. I love mine, it fits well, I've never had it leak and is easy to put in and retrieve once you get it down.
Downside is it isn't fda approved so you have to order it from overseas. (It's approved in Europe which has more stringent standards so it being safe isn't a concern)

The quiz posted above is helpful. There are a bunch of different types and many brands have two sizes to accommodate women who have/haven't given birth.
I use a diva cup but I think I'm going to try a different one when I'm done being pregnant.

I have a Diva, Lunette, and Sckoon. I have not had good luck with them in the 3 years I've been trying them. I always, always leak no matter what I do.

I have a CaliCup. I have had to go the OBGYN TWICE to get the darn thing removed due to its extremely short removal plug/stem!!!! One time, I even had to bring my 3-year-old with me since NO ONE was available to watch him while they removed it ... he sat there eating cereal, playing with my hair (fussing) while the OBGYN fished for it. NOT FUN. I have been looking for a better one myself ... DON'T get a CaliCup!

I use meluna. (I think that’s the name). The size differences are for flow level and they recommend sizes based on age and babies/no babies. I have been using it for 2.5 years and love it. I leak if I don’t put it in properly but a minute amount that just comes out on the TP when I wipe/pee.
Highly recommend.

I started using a diva cup this week (the one for over 30/have had a baby). I wish I had switched sooner! I have very irregular cycles (somewhat regular since having my second child) and they can be really heavy since they are so far apart. As long as I put it in right I have no leaks! I would have to wear a tampon and a pad because it was so heavy, with the diva cup I don’t have to!

I had a Diva cup pre-kids but now it’s too long. So I bought a Super Jennie and I cut off the stem. I love it. I do need a high capacity cup because I have a heavy flow.

@peaches1038: I used that quiz too! Super helpful. I have the Saalt now and I love it. Used the Diva cup for about a year and it was ok. I only really use it at night though, prefer tampons still for daytime.

@MamaBear87: I found that they sometimes shift on me during the day and I WOH. When they are comfortable, they’re great. When I don’t get them to sit just right...yikes! Just easier to not worry about readjusting them in a public restroom

The quiz is great and pointed me toward a new kind that wasn't available the last time I bought one (pre-kids!). I'm about to order the Lena Sensitive. I had a long run with the Lunette.

@BUNBUN: finding a cup that fit really properly fixed this issue completely for me. (Granted I was motivated because tampons felt like my vagina was on fire). The merula is shaped like a fish bowl and I've never had it shift. I even swam with it in Vegas and zero issues

@peaches1038: this is great! I’ve been using cups for a few years, and the quiz recommended some that I’ve never heard of.
Diva didn’t work for me and I have one that I can’t even remember the name of. It’s better but not perfect. I also tried one of the round cups for low cervixes but cannot figure out how to get it in properly. I may try the one this quiz recommended since it looks promising!
