Please recommend a transitional cup that is super easy to clean thoroughly! I don’t feel good about putting milk in straw cups and other difficult to clean cups.

We love the 360 cups, easy to clean and they train kids to drink like they would from real cups.

@mrsrain: my first child took to the 360 easily, but my second hasn’t figured it out. Any tips?

@Iced Tea: hmmm... that’s a good question. I didn’t have issues with either of my kids. Maybe put something tasty (jam? Chocolate syrup?) on the rim of the cup that they’ll want to lick/suck off to help them get that required sucking reflex down?

It took a while for my LO to get the hang of the 360 cup too. Have you tried a spouted cup? At daycare they give the kids the Take & Toss versions. With so many kids to prep drinks for I imagine those are easy to clean.

The take and toss straw cups are easy. We rinse after they have milk in them and then throw in the dishwasher.

@Mrs. Champagne: my problem with take and toss straw cups is both my kids liked to pull the straws out and then they would spill from the whole or try to drink straight out of the straw hole. But that was my preferred cup for milk for a long time. The straws can get gross after a while but you can buy replacements or just use a regular plastic disposable straw. Now I give them milk in take and toss spout/ soppy type cups to avoid them playing with the straws. Super easy to clean.
I also have the 360 cups and like them a lot and are easy to clean. It took a couple tries to catch on though.

We liked the Zoomi cups at home (there’s no lid or lock for travel) a it’s a silicone straw that is one piece and easy to clean. DS2 liked the Munchkin weighted straw cup and that is more annoying to clean but we just soaked the parts in hot soapy water overnight and just rinsed them in the morning with a straw brush. The cup and lid easily dishwashed.
