I am NOT a shoe person, but I'd like to get a couple pairs of shoes that are comfortable enough to run around after a toddler in and are still a little bit stylish. They are a bit spendy, but my sister convinced me to get a pair of Rothys and I’m really happy with them so far. I was never able to find flats that I didn’t have to break in, and when I finally did, hey looks like crap. I’ve only had them a few months, but they still look good (and my kid steps on my shoes ALL THE TIME) and there was 0 break in time- comfy right away. I've worn these for years! Mine are a gold-ish color so they sorta match my skin tone, and I wear them for everything, grocery shopping to work (formal office). They are fairly comfortable, and very versatile.
I personally am looking for something with a little more arch support and little more cushion on the bottom, but I haven't found anything that compares yet! -
I got a pair of Toms sneakers (more cushy than the regular ones) that was recommended by a friend of mine. They're really comfortable and versatile.

I have a pair of leather Mephisto sandals that I really like, and am planning on replacing them with a pair of Birkenstock Gizehs in a metallic.
I also like New balance sneakers a lot and wear those often, as I like to have socks on in case I need to take my shoes off.

I also wear black and white slip on sneakers- I guess they really are mom shoes based on all the responses! Mine are Ecco brand similar to think, they were the most comfy for my slightly wide feet. The only problem is i feel like I can’t wear socks with them and the exposed ankle can get cold in new England.

We're sort of in the wrong season, but I love these Steve Madden combat boots for stylish mom shoes. Not slip on, but they have an inside zipper so they are on and off in a moment. I live in the northeast so shoes without socks is a no-go for 6+ months of the year.

@Rocker2014: yeah I pretty much wear a more winter style of that boot (with the furrrr) from dec through March. But on a rare warmish day I wear the slip ons.

When we used to have cold weather, I lived in a pair of Frye pull on mid length boots. Now that we only have summer, I live in OluKai U’I leather flip flops. Someone around here recommended them and they are so comfortable! If I need real shoes, I have a pair of Melissa jelly ballet flats.
