I'm starting to think about our next Canadian winter (ugh) and what I'll need for LO. Last winter he was a newborn so I could just throw stuff on top of him and use the stroller cover but now that he'll be more out and about in the cold, I'm not sure what to get him. He doesn't walk yet (or crawl!) but I imagine he might at some point during the winter, as he'll be a year old in November.
What would you recommend for outerwear for a one year old? A full snow suit? A separate jacket? I see some snowsuits without feet, and some that are closed at the bottom. But what's the point of the closed ones if they're walking by then?
Any favourite brands or styles? Include links please!
Thank you!
It was 20 bucks so I'm not super invested if it doesn't work out. I definitely like the convenience of one pieces overall though, for all clothing.
. What I should have said is that if you have a non-walking child and you use a stroller for extended periods, then a fleece bunting can be useful. But personally, I find them hard to use. They can be too warm for the car and too warm once you get inside, and difficult to take off.
