I love my daycare. They are the sweet grandmothers that insist on the babies all wearing hats

But the last few days, we've sent my daughter (7 months) dressed in a long-sleeve tunic and leggings with a little coat, and they've been wrapping her up in a sweater to be outside. So clearly I need to get her warmer clothes

My first thought is getting boring short sleeve onesies to go under her clothes so she has another layer, but maybe I should be upgrading her outfits to thicker material? Or better coats? What about her little cold legs? And how do I dress her in a way she can go outside and not roast to death inside?

I should just take this as an excuse to go shopping

So how have you dressed your little ones for winter? Tips for still-crawling children who want to be outside too?
