So I'm probably just killing time here and maybe jumping the gun BUT anyway.....

With LO1 I had no dilation or effacement at 38 wks, 1cm/90% effaced at 39, 40, and 41 weeks. I was induced at 41+1 and LO1 was born at 41+2 after a long, rough 24-hour induction.

I'm being induced this time at 40wks due to low platelets. I imagine I'll be 0-1cm dilated and maybe effaced. I'm not getting my hopes up (I'm not dilated or effaced right now at 38 weeks). I'm also not trying any natural labor induction methods because I did them all last time and they didn't work. I walk a ton (I'm a teacher) and I nurse my son 15-30 min a day.

Anyway, I'd love to hear your stories about how you had very little dilation or effacement yet you still had a "successful" induction resulting in a vaginal birth.... bonus points if it was under 24 hours, haha. Just want to remind myself it is possible and stay positive
