LO's preschool is asking us to send in 1 dozen eggs stuffed with anything but chocolate candy. I went to the grocery store today and everything was chocolate that was small enough to fit in an egg! Except Twizzlers, so I did purchase those at least.
Any ideas on other items to fit in the eggs?

Does it have to be food?
Stickers, temporary tattoos, bath drops or bath fizzies, fruit snacks.

We live in tx and they always ask for no chocolate as it might be hot enough to melt
I try to do individually wrapped and can usually find smarties, Swedish fish and sour patch kids in tiny bags (have to sort of stuff them in). Also jelly beans, gummy bears and fruit snacks. Maybe my super target just has a big selection!
Love the non food ones too, all parents appreciate not having to ration as much candy I think!

Individual packages of fruit snacks fit like Annie's or Welch's. Springtime themed marshmallows (Jet Puffed has a spring themed one). Tiny boxes of Sun Maid yogurt raisins - also have them right now in Easter shades. Jelly beans. Those Tootsie fruit chews or Starburst or Skittles. Gummy bears or gummy worms. Haribo makes tiny individual bags of them. Fruit leather like stretch island brand can probably be rolled and tucked into an egg.

Dollar stores usually have great little trinkets. Miniature dinosaurs and other toys like that. Stickers erasers, bracelets...

If you buy the bigger eggs, you can get the tiny containers of play-doh and put those in.
Small erasers, little stuff to hang off backpacks, stickers, and I have to say my son would flip out over coins, the kid is destined to be a currency trader!

Last year I found eggs at CVS that were pre-stuffed with stickers or tattoos. Super easy

@looch: Last year we found play-doh eggs (actually made by the company that makes play-doh!) which we hid at a hunt alongside regular eggs.
We regularly do sugar-free egg hunts, and have used things like jelly bracelets, little plastic animals, tattoos, finger puppets, bouncy balls, stickers.... one time someone got little puff-ball chicks at a craft store and the kids loved those! if it's food you could do pretzels or animal crackers, but I personally know I wouldn't let my kid eat unwrapped treats she got at an egg hunt.
