Can you put a note on the BBB one that your other registry is with Amazon? Also, word of mouth. My mom told the entire family where I was registered when this happened to me.

I wouldn't say anything. Just add some things to your BBB registry.

The same exact thing happened to me! I think my mom and friends just told the others. I didn't end up getting much from my Amazon registry but it all worked out... I got everything I needed either by returning things to bbb or using my completion discount.

I would add what you could to BBB. My amazon registry was on my invitations and only a couple people used it. In my experience people prefer traditional baby stores. Even if they shopped online it was at BRU.

That kind of stuff kept happening to me! I had the worst time registering, couldn't decide what website/store to use, felt like I was settling for the little that was available at target online and in-store... and then at my first shower maybe 1-2 people bought stuff from the registries!

For my work shower, I had a feeling that people would use it more, so I went through and fixed it depending on what I got from the first shower (mostly clothes so none of that was on the registry anyways), and I still ended up getting stuff I didn't need, duplicates, or things that in person I decided I didn't need after all. And not everyone gave gift receipts! In general, I don't want to complain of course, everyone has been so generous and we'll have more than what we need for our little guy when he comes hopefully this month.
