About 95% of our registry was purchased. The only things that were leftover were like random toys we put on there as filler and the mamas and papas baby snug chair. The chair was the only thing we bought that no one else did.

I think I'm the only person on these boards not to have had a registry They aren't common where I'm from!

People bought very few things. My dad ended up buying out the registry because pre-baby we got nothing, then ended up with off-registry gifts we couldn't even use.

One thing...breast pads. I didn't have a shower for M, but I did for S, and I got tons of baby girl clothes and not much else. My parents and inlaws did buy off the registry, but it was the big items that they had already said they were getting for us. I just had to pick out which one and put in on so that they knew they were getting the right stuff.

Very little of my registry was actually purchased. I may have gotten similar things from what i had in my registry, but hardly anyone actually looked at it. Mostly everyone bought off-registry gifts--mostly little girl clothes, which I understand because girl clothes are so cute! I really appreciated what we got and we got a TON of stuff from 3 showers that people threw us, and some of it is stuff we would go back in time and register for if we would have known, but it was not on our registry. We may have made a mistake in only having an Amazon registry, because most of our guests prefered to shop at brick-and-mortar stores.
On the other hand, almost everyone who went to our wedding used the registry (unless they gave money or a gift card or no gift). But that was at a brick-and-mortar store that was also online, so who knows!

I think this is one time that being Team Green was really helpful. People bought tons of useful gear from our registry because plain white or ducky onesies just aren't as tempting as little suspenders and bows. We received 95% of our registry.

I didn't have a ton on my registry but I voted around 50%. It may have been more than that but some of it was board books and other little things. I didn't register for much big stuff and only about half of the registry was practical "need" things. Long story short, about half of the practical things were purchased.
I have been able to return enough stuff that was off registry or duplicates to be able to fill most of the gaps- but we didn't need much due to hand me downs and being able to borrow things like a rock n play and exersaucer etc.

Maybe 70%. We didn't reveal the gender (since we weren't even supposed to know) so I think that helped get necessities vs cute clothes.

25% or less. Not much, but it was easy to keep track f why I wanted to buy with the gift cards I got.

None!! Everyone gave whatever outfit they thought was cute, haha. Not totally helpful but oh well.

About half of it, I don't know the exact %. I used it to keep track of things I wanted to buy too heh

Less than 50%. People just wanted to buy lots (SO many!) clothes for her. We had to make a pretty big target run to get everything we needed because hardly anyone got us non-clothes items.

Lol, note to self: our decision to be team green is a good one when it comes to receiving the essentials for first time parents!

We got almost nothing from our registry. We got TONS of clothes that we ended up returning because they weren't our style and we had WAY too much. We ended up, along with my parents, buying the vast majority of it.

I would say 80% was from the registry, but I had a small registry and a very small shower. Every gift I received at the shower was from the registry.

i created a very small registry and when it was close to being all purchased, i added more things. we got pretty much everything on it, but i kept it very small overall.

I have a pretty big registry but mainly is to keep track of what I need regardless of whether someone buys it for me! So I don't expect over 50% to be purchased.
