@Mrs. Jump Rope: I thought that it was odd they weren't in the very ending but Haddie hasn't been on for a couple years and Nora was so small I guess it makes sense.
And it was Hank's daughter at the table.

I hate that they did a terrible job of aging people. Nora was the same age yet it had been 18 months -2 years? Idk. She looked the exact same. It just drives me nuts when they age some but not others. Little kids especially show age changes dramatically so I think that was a poor choice! But I over think things.

@BabyPenguinXO: the baseball field scene was just after the wedding, so she wouldn't have aged.

The flash forward scenes were all different time lapses - so it made sense the everyone's families kids were different ages. Baby Zeek looked about 3, but it seemed like a little more time had lapsed with Julia's family. And max was a year or two from graduating, so his flash forward was pretty quick, too.

@Mrs. Jump Rope: oh that's right about the field. Pregnancy brain.

I'm overall not a fan of throwing all these new people and whatnot into the ending. I'm sure im the oddball everyone seemed to love it. But I'm sitting here like... That could have been another season! So I'm mad lol

I think the finale was good but I am just so, so sad it is over.

@ladybee: I texted my sister the same exact thing after I watched the finale! How in the world is Grey's still on and Parenthood only got 6 seasons!?!? I stopped watching Grey's in like 2010!

I thought the ending was brilliant. I went into it really hoping that they would just keep Zeke alive, because I didn't want the show to end on a super sad funeral note. But I like how they handled it. I like that they had the little ceremony at the baseball field with his ashes and then had a big fun baseball game. And I really thought that showing the futures of all of them was perfect. I loved seeing Jasmine pregnant. I loved seeing Max graduate. Seeing Amber in a happy relationship.

This show has been perfection, start to finish...

@littlebug: I knew they were probably either going to have him die or show future clips without him but I was crossing my fingers they wouldn't because it just seemed like it'd be too sad. How they did it with the baseball scene was so impressive! Sad but not as solemn as I thought it would be!

So sad its over. Clearly people on the set felt the love too. This interview with Mae Whitman who plays Amber made me smile imagining all of them continuing to hang out and braver man it up: http://www.people.com/article/mae-whitman-talks-parenthood-and-movies

@MrsMccarthy: I didn't know Mae (Amber) and Miles (Drew) were friends IRL and lived together.

I loved the end. I was really dreading Zeek's death the whole season but I thought it was so well done and not overly melodramatic. Of course I was still sobbing. It doesn't help that the theme song (Forever Young) which they played at the end was my uncle's favorite song and played at his funeral a couple years ago, so that song gets me every time. You know I was a hot mess with it playing in this context! But I thought it was a beautiful ending.

I'm actually not upset about Zeek dying at all. I feel like one of the best things about this show is the true and raw emotions they portray. About parenting, adoptions, family and life. Death is a big part of life and especially the death of our parents. And as far as I can recall there has been no death yet in the family. So I like that they kept it real till the end!

@bisous: great shows know to end on a high note when everyone still love them! Otherwise no one watches and just go ugh why is it still on? Grey's should've ended forever ago.

I loved the finale and it actually held it together until the end. I thought it was very predictable in a lot of ways but I was ok with that. We had my dads funeral at a baseball field and we danced to Forever Young at my wedding so the last 10 minutes killed me!

@regberadaisy: Totally agree. I don't think I can watch anything with Peter K ever again since the ending of his shows make me BALL. I think I cried harder at Six feet under's ending however.

@Mae: I actually agree with you. I get that he wanted to go out on his own terms, but if that were my dad, I would be pissed. Like, at least give it a shot!!?!?!

@Mrs. Jump Rope: omg Ugly tears started with Max graduating and smiling for me too! I'm glad someone else noticed that cause my DH was like "huh?" when I mentioned it lol

@BabyPenguinXO: They probably didn't want to age the little ones a ton so people would know who they were. But I totally agree with what you're saying.

@littlebug: Feel the same way. I'm sad Zeke died, but glad they didn't "harp" on it and moved right on with the family being together and the flash forwards. Had he died in the beginning, I would have passed out hyperventilating/crying. lol That being said, I do feel like that last 5 minutes could have at least been 10-15. It felt a little rushed to me.

I'm almost in tears just thinking about it being over. How did it feel like I was part of a TV family?? Lol
