The girls were in daycare today so I played hooky from household duties and went shopping! But alas, daycare lost power and we had to pick up the girls early. My day off got cut a little short. 
But I really enjoyed the 4 hours I got! And I'm sure Target appreciated my business.

It's been like a year. I desperately need one soon! I would really just like a nap and to be able to do yard work so my house doesn't look like a dump haha.

Where I didn't do any chores or anything at all? Probably never. Even before becoming a parent. It's kind of a compulsion to me. Which is ridiculous sounding because my house doesn't even look that clean lol

Last Sat. E went to MIL's and we picked her up late. But we did stuff around the house. So productive!

@Mrs. Sunshine: Oh I do chores but its much more efficient when there aren't any kids around!
I usually drop off the kids then stop at a local bagel place and get a bagel and coffee - come home watch TV while I eat.
Then I will straighten up the house.
Maybe run to a store or 3
Sit outside and eat lunch on the deck.
Organize something
Clean the kids room/play room - easier to do w/o kids so they don't complain when I get rid of stuff - ha!
Then pick up the kids
Def not all relaxing but it feels good to get stuff done!

I would looooove a day off! The ILs took the boy for a weekend for DH and I to go away to a hotel, but I was 35 weeks pregnant.
I wish I had taken advantage of daycare more when I was working and had days off!

Other than when I've had jobs I was working...? I guess the closest thing was a few weekends ago a good friend was having a bridal shower in my hometown 2 hrs away. so I left at 9am to drive up, visit my grandma, go to the shower, then drive home. I got back around 5. didn't feel like much of a day off though since I spent 4 hrs of it driving!

Today! I got a pedicure, did a little shopping, vacuumed and then watched some Dr Who just meeting DH now to pick up LO.

My mom watches the girls once a week. I used to work from home those days but now I'm a SAHM so I schedule all my appointments and errands during that time.

I haven't had more than 2 hours off from kids since February of 2014.
