I received the first of the two chairs I ordered for my boys' first birthday. The stitching is soo off center it's ridiculous! I mean really, who packaged that and thought a customer would be okay with the finished product? Fortunately, their customer service was great and they already have a new one on the way. Theo's better be right, and also Dallas's new one, though! I am so glad I didn't wait to open the package closer to their birthday to find this out!

@sorrycharlie: @Smurfette: I know! Fortunately, their birthday isn't until early January, so I didn't freak out about it since there's time to get replacements. To their credit on the customer service line, they were awesome at immediately apologizing and issuing a UPS pick-up at our door for the bad one and submitting a new order for a replacement.

I had the same experience with stockings. Off center embroidery on the completely wrong stocking (rob Jr. On a girl angel). Customer service is great though! I ended up getting a full refund quickly.

Why even send it? It's not like the recipient wouldn't call for a new one- it would have saved time if they just corrected it in the first place before shipping the original.

What in the... How does that even happen?!?! How is their embroidery machine not automatically starting the center?
I feel like I hear more bad stories than good about PBK embroidering - a big reason I chose to not even bother having them embroider our stocking.

You know after hearing everyone's stories lately with this chair, I'm glad I went with a cheaper chair I foudn on Amazon. I got it and it's cute, just not personalized.

You won't believe this...but we had to order a new slipcover because they stitched the inside flap to the embroidery causing the fabric to get jacked up. What the heck PBK?!

Just like @mrs. wagon: I'm not even remotely surprised. For C's birthday last year my SIL ordered a personalized backpack. 6 weeks and 3 backpacks later (including sending us the same exact messed up one twice) they finally got it right.
Their customer service was great, but their staff in order fulfillment and shipping sucked.
They did get a stocking order from my MIL correct this year though. I did cringe after seeing where she ordered it from after what happened last time.
