What do your family stockings all look like together? Do they match, mis-match? How often do you get new ones? I ordered K's from PBK last year, but DH and I just had old mis-matched ones. I'd like them to be more uniform, but not sure what to match with K's that also reflects my decor/style. I like white/neutrals/metallics. Help! I need some photos/ideas. And appreciate any suggestions/links!

We ordered the pbk stocking for O this year, and we just got some pbk stockings as well so they would be uniform. But, if you like whites/neutrals maybe just order something like this?

We have the traditional red velvet ones from PB with our names embroidered.

They're not all exactly the same but they're coordinated and from the same collection (one has Santa, one has a snowman, one has a reindeer, etc).

We have matching. Knit sweater material. Our names aren't on them. DH and I have red and R has ivory. We are waiting to get really nice ones till we know our family is done.

i bought them hoping they'd be forever stockings.. at least for the next 20 years!

We got the fair isle ones from PBK, but be warned -- they are humongous; a lot larger than the PB velvet ones or similar! It is going to be a serious effort to fill those things every year!

@Mrs. High Heels: I stupidly didn't even look at the dimensions before I ordered them! We previously had the velvet ones so I just assumed they were the same size. I totally blame the fact that I ordered them while breastfeeding in the MOTN! And now our LO will make out like a bandit haha

@erind425: hahaa... oh yes i blame everything on mommy brain! someone told me their mom used to stuff oranges at the bottom of their stockings to fill it up! maybe you can try stuff like that!

@Mrs. High Heels: This is exactly what I was looking for in terms of ideas! I love how they all have the matching fuzzy white trim. What's throwing me off right now is the gingham trim on K's. Maybe I'll need to get her another on eventually.

@shopaholic: yea i'm like that too - i don't mind mismatch as long as there's cohesion somewhere. i think the different trims would also throw me off.

@shopaholic: Yep! All three are the same, just hers is ivory. I got them all last year. Eventually we will get PB ones. I just want to wait till we have another or decide we arent. I will post a pic in the next couple days. Hopefully our new French doors are finished tomorrow so I can decorate Sunday.

Ours are knit by my aunt with our names and they all match. Everyone in my whole family (mom's side) has them. I was SO excited when Liam got his in the mail before his first Christmas.

I like simple stockings that will grow with our children. I opted for simple ivory quilted stocking. I bought them last year with an extra one for DD 2 I will take to be embroidered locally.
I don't plan to ever change them out!

Here are our stockings last year. I can't decide which kind from PB to get DD.
@Mrs. High Heels: I'm really annoyed PB doesn't have the same red velvet stockings anymore. I wanted to get one for DD to match DS's stocking. 
I'm thinking of getting her a woodland one but all our stockings are going to be mismatched now! Maybe I'll get DH, DS and I new stockings if they go on clearance after xmas.

I let LO pick the stockings for her and her sister tbis year, so all of ours are totally mismatched. 
we got them at hobby lobby....they have a huge selection and all of their xmas stuff is 50% off.

@mrskc: I actually think the woodland one would go well with what you have bc you and DH have different color knit stockings! The woodland would just be a different color from A's, but the trim and design of it is similar so it would still look great together IMO! I actually think it'd look better than another red velvet stocking for L. If you did, it'd be three red stockings vs DH's solo green.
It does make me glad that I bought J's along with the rest of the family's though cuz I was actually in my third tri with him when I got his. I'm surprised pbk doesn't have the same ones every year. I thought they would!

@mrskc: Those are lovely, but I really like neutral colors. I actually think A's and the Woodland one would kind of coordinate because of the white trim? Maybe I'll get the knit style all-white or all-ivory ones for DH and myself.

@shopaholic: haha it does look like a turtle! I got them on merry stockings dot Com last year for $16.99. They were on a deal site but I missed it and they were nice enough to honor the deal! If you like neutral simple stockings they have other styles as well including knit.

We all have PBK ones, they're the ones that are similar to the ones the OP posted, but blue background instead of red. I have the doll, my husband has the train and my son has santa. First names on all. They're not unpacked yet or I would post a pic.

@shopaholic: ours are mismatched. They're all cross stitched (my mom did them) but they have different patterns. DH has a nutcracker that I'm in love with, DS has a sweet Santa scene, and mine, that I've had since birth, is a girl version of DS's.

Mine came from an etsy store. I actually hate the font ( there was a mix up ) so eventually these will get replaced but I do love the simplicity of them.
Ps the red ones on either end are for our cat and dog and are getting names on there as soon as I remember to drop them off. Darn baby brain!
Also please ignore my ugly feet which REALLY need some love ha ha!
