If you have names on your Christmas stockings, did you use your first names or titles “Mom/Dad”?
I bought 4 matching stockings a few years ago in anticipation of having a second LO but waited to embroider so the fonts would all match. I used a Baby’s 1st Christmas stocking this year for our new DS and want to go ahead and get our names added now in preparation for next year.
Hoping to use these stockings for a long time.

We had stockings embroidered before kids with our initials. Then when LO1 was born we were gifted a stoking for her with her first name embroidered on it. We had one done to match for LO2 this Christmas now that she’s arrived.
I voted other since ours are neither name nor mom/dad and are initials instead.

My MiL made dh’s stocking when he was a baby, then made me one when we got married, so clearly those both have our first name. She has since made them for both of our kids too. I like first names.

We just had a conversation about this! I bought plain felt stockings and I'm going to embroider them this year--I think we're going with our first names instead of Mommy/Daddy.

We didn’t have names on our stockings growing up so I have nothing to reference personally so the poll results are interesting. DH and I were thinking Mom/Dad since that is what we are called most often at home. Although DS recently called us by our first names so he knows them

@Bluemasonjar: my parents never even had stockings growing up. All the kids had the old red polyester ones with our names written in glitter, but my parents had none.

We used our names. Using Mom / Dad didn’t really cross my mind.... I’m only that to my kids, not Santa!

@LBee: Valid point about Santa lol Since I’m Mom at home I guess that’s why I was thinking that is what would go on my stocking since that is how my kids know me.

We got stockings as a wedding present and the gift giver asked what I wanted on them. I said our first names as we didn't have any kids yet and I thought that would be weird. She ended up not putting any name on them. It actually worked out better this way as they became back up stockings for our boys since my mom cross stitches a stocking for all of her grandchildren. DS2's stocking is so small that it can't fit anything in there. DH and I just use our stockings from childhood that have our names on them. I prefer names vs mom/dad

Ours have our first names, but they were made pre-kids, and I don't hang them with the kids' stockings on Christmas Eve - they sit by the fireplace. The kids know that DH and I fill each other's stockings, not Santa - he just does the kids at our house.
The bad thing about having first names is that it prompts the kids to call us that, particularly the older one(s) who can read, and that irks me, haha.

Lol, I thought you were going to ask a question about how to embroider a name on a stocking. For some stupid reason I decided to do homemade felt embroidered stockings for my kids (my mother did Bucilla ones for us kids), so I can safely recommend writing the name on tissue paper, doing a backstitch on top of it and then tearing the tissue paper out when you're done 
But to answer your real question, my grandma made us cross stitch ones when we got married, so they have our first names, which is good when we get together with the whole family.

We got ours as a wedding gift so they say our first names. We ordered the same ones for the kids as they came so they have their first names too. As an aside, my three yo is totally figuring out names v roles v terms of endearment so he has been calling DH “daddy husband” lately which my DH finds hilarious.
