Has anyone purchased one? How long do they last? Is there an expiration date? Are the tanks refillable?
Wondering if it's worth just buying a tank for less than a dozen balloons versus getting them filled?!

We've bought the tank/balloons combo from Sams Club a few times. If you want a mix of colors I think it's easier... if you want a specific color, you'd have to buy it separately anyway, and it wouldn't be cost effective. I've never tried buying the separate tank...

We bought one for R's bday. $21 at Target, said 30 balloons, we maybe got 20. We bought two and then used it for like 6 the next weekend for for photo shoot. I put it in the basement cause a coworker told me that you can save them.

@locavore_mama: probably? we always bought it the weekend before the party, and just used it to fill the balloons that came with it (and maybe a handful more).. there always seemed to be some left over, but not a ton.
