I know we have lots of different "fall/spring/summer/winter babies" threads and "pregnant belly update" threads but I haven't seen one for monthly pic updates for our bebes. I know alot of us bee moms do them so a place we can post them seems like a fun idea to me.... post your little one's most recent monthly update!

I've been so lax about taking monthly pictures but I figure I take enough that it's okay. This one was at 5 months, give or take a day or two. He's chewing on a 75 year old teething ring. The ring is mother of pearl and the bell is silver.

We did weekly photos for the first year, but we are switching to monthly now. I can't believe I actually got all 52! We call the series Besting the Chicken, a family joke. We went with various themes depending on the time of year. Here are a few favorites from year 1:

@hellocupcake: I'm doing a theme based on what month it is. So for her 1 month in December she wore a Santa Hat. For her 2 month in January I'm dressing her up like the New Year's baby. 3 month in Feb will be Valentine's day themed, etc.
