No real tips, but my DD has been potty trained for a good 4-6 months and has always been more consistent with poop over pee. I think it's a much more noticeable sensation of "have to go" combined with a much more uncomfortable situation for them if they have an accident. I find I still really need to do reminders a few times a day for DD (nearly 3) to go pee - I feel like if I don't insist that she pee at certain times (when she gets up, before leaving the house, and usually before we sit down to meals), she doesn't always think to go herself, and will sometimes have an accident.

To get her to stay on the potty.....have you tried books? Singing songs, especially ones with hand motions that will distract her? It's kind of mean, but I used to sing "Wheels on the Bus" to my DD to get her to stay on the toilet longer....and now if I sing it to her on the potty, it's a definite trigger to make her go!
