Is anyone else having trouble controlling your cravings? I eat healthy but have been obsessed with cooking lately...which means I'm making cookies, brownies and tonight im thinking of homemade coconut ice cream. I'm also downing the Easter pretzel m&m's, which are too much to handle. After reading about the glucose test I've been worried I might be giving myself GD. I've been super thirsty!!! Like really, really thirsty....
So, I have been tracking my daily meals on fitness pal and realizing I'm at least double the daily recommendations of sugar every day. And did you know Milk has like 12 grams of sugar !!! Your only allowed 40 grams a day and I've been over 80! My doctor told me to go on a low sodium diet 6 weeks ago because I've been gaining too much weight. I'm 5'9 and pre preg weight was 166. At my 20 week, I weighed 188. I have an appt this thurs. and I'll be 26 weeks and freaked out of what I might weigh this time. Apparently I need to be on the no sugar, low sodium diet but that would be hideous...
Does anyone relate to struggling like myself and how did you deal and did everything turn out alright?
