Bee picked up Charlie today from his afterschool program, and one of the girls had a really bad sunburn from being at the park! It made me realize that it's that time of year where we live that the kids need sunscreen every morning. And here I thought that getting out the door in the mornings was already a laborious process!
When do you usually start putting sunscreen on the kids every day?

I do it whenever we are going to be outside and before we get in the car in the morning! DD actually asks for it....she goes, "cream? Cream?" Lol

We've been doing it for the last month whenever we're going to be outside. The weather is still hit or miss here in the Midwest so we don't make it outside everyday. We are really pale people and I have had questionable moles removed so I take sunscreen pretty seriously!

It's just part of our routine in the morning. But we also live in sunny California. 
His daycare also reapplies while he is there. Don't forget, you can get sunburned even on an overcast day!

The last few mornings, I do it as he's eating his yogurt smoothie. He almost always wants to go outside first thing!

It never occurred to me that I should put sunblock on LO before daycare. I know they put it on at daycare because I see smudges of it at the end of the day and we run out from time to time. Plus, she is super pale. I assumed they did it year round to keep her pasty tone.

I need to start putting it on their faces in the morning. Daycare puts it on them when they go outside.

My dad passed away from melanoma so everyone in the family gets a heavy coating and hats if we go outside. Even the cats.

I just bought some Babyganics spray on sunscreen. Even though my daughter has a dark skin tone, her cheeks have been getting red and I want to protect her skin, so I am going to start applying it every morning and if I can get my act together, re-apply in the afternoon before she goes back outside. I have heard not-so-great things about the spray but I figure it will make it easier for me to actually get it done and that's better than nothing.

I live in outside of NYC and have been applying sunscreen every morning for the past 2 weeks. Our daycare asks that we apply in the morning before we drop off our kids. Then they re-apply in the afternoon.
On the weekends, I apply it before we go outside in the morning and again in the afternoon.

We started last week since that's when our nice days finally started. Our day care puts sunscreen on them before they go outside every day.
