So we are moving our twin 4yos into their big kid beds real soon.
I'm getting ready to order sheets (6 sets/3 per child)... I don't have high end taste......but just want to see if anyone has liked pillowfort sheets from target? I like the $20 price point (versus PBK where $20 gets you one pillow case 
)

I like the pillowfort from Target but only when it's 100% cotton....

@bakingdoodle: same. They have some sets that are 100% cotton and some that are polyester. We buy the 100% cotton ones and have been very pleased with them.

I have pillow fort kids too and neglected to check for 100% cotton because I assumed that anything for kids would be cotton. Definitely check.
I also got these from the normal sheet section at Target a few years ago for a little boy's train room. We told him they were train track print and he was happy.

@meadow: we have Threshold sheets from target and have been happy with them. I already had a duvet cover from ikea that I wanted to use in DS’s room, so I just got solid color sheets from target to match. Holding up well after two years.

@meadow: I'll be contrary here and say that the 100% cotton Pillowfort sheets have NOT worked on my kids' deep mattresses - it is a struggle to get the fitted sheet on! The "microfiber" (polyester) ones have been fine fit-wise. They wouldn't be my first choice of fabric, but my kids were gifted a set each and really like that silky, airy feel.
The "Room Essentials" jersey sets are 100% cotton (but stretchy, like a t-shirt) and might be out in some cute prints right now for the college crowd.
ETA: I'm with you on not buying PBK - I've cleaned way too much nail polish, marker, putty/slime, puke, etc. out of sheets to think it's worth spending so much on toddler/elementary age bedding!

@PinkElephant: I recently switched us to microfiber sheets after way too many sets of cotton sheets that pilled after just a few uses/washes (some cheap and some $$$). Happy so far! Amazon basics have been pretty good for me, with a ton of colors and patterns, but I know some reviews question the quality of the seam stitching so there may be some inconsistency there.
