you're using the word right.

I had different symptoms and the same sex. I think it has more to do with how your body handles the quickly changing hormone levels than anything with the baby's sex. I haven't been quite as sick this time around despite it being another boy - maybe my body's just a bit more used to it since it just went through this a year ago? I mean, I've still been sick. But not as intensely.

@Raindrop: Yeah, I think I'm just bitter because literally every old wive's tale about gender was wrong for me, haha! From the way you carry, to the foods you crave, to the Chinese gender chart, etc.

Only some teeny differences, but those are due to the extra weight I'm carrying this pregnancy (hips are more sore, I get exhausted easier, etc)

More differences than similarities and I have two boys 20 months apart. My second pregnancy was much easier though I had GD and low fluid at the end.

Very different pregnancies, same sex. I was very sick with both, but different kinds of sick- throwing up with my first regularly, but more nausea and less appetite with my second. I carried entirely different the second time and had fewer issues (pregnancy hypertension, swelling, carpal tunnel) at the end until my blood pressure got very high the last week of pregnancy with both.

@Raindrop: You used the word sex correctly. People often misuse the word gender where the appropriate word would be sex.
