DS will be 3.5 at Christmas and has started saying that he wants to ask Santa for a racetrack like the one on TV (I have no idea what commercial he is referring to). SO, what racetracks do your 3 YOs love? Is he too young for a hot wheels set? He has a Fisher Price Little People one and he loves the ramps on it...just not sure what else is out there and wanted to see what your LOs love!

We don't have a racetrack, but when DS said the same thing last year about a dinosaur car I searched for them on amazon and scrolled through the pictures casually asking him oh which one of these were you going to ask Santa for...I did it a few times and got the same answer each time but one.

@MrsSRS: That's a good idea. I did tell him the next time it's on TV to tell me....but now every commercial that comes on, regardless of what it is, he says "I need some of those."

It’s good because you can put more than one car in it at a time, they zip around like crazy, and occasionally they crash or go flying off the edges which is a big hit.

My younger DS got this for his 1st birthday, but my older son (now 4) is the one who plays with it the most. Now that DS2 is 18 months, they play together which is awesome.

We got a hot wheels one for DS 3rd bday, Hot Wheels Super Ultimate Garage playset. He loves it. I only got this particular one cause I found a clearnacenone at target for $50. It's pretty big and I think a smaller race track one would keep him just as happy
