My plan was to start potty training when DD turns 2 in December. I recently got the Baby Bjorn potty chair because it was on sale and I figure I had to get it sooner or later anyway. The other night I put DD on it for the first time before bath and she peed in it right way. I wasn't expecting her too--I just put her on so she could get use to sitting in it--so I was pleasantly surprised! She did it 3 nights in a row and seemed pretty excited to use the potty. Do you think this means she's ready to be potty trained? I really wasn't planning to do it so soon but if this is a sign she might be ready and interested then maybe I should try? I really don't know! I guess I don't know if I'M ready!!

That sounds very promising!
There are still a few signs to watch for... did she ever pooped in the potty? Can she remain dry for a long period of time?
As an anti-3-day-training individual (haha, because we failed miserably), I would suggest going to buy really cool underwear for her and practice putting her in underwear for a period of time a day. Say, after she peed in the potty already, put her in an underwear and ask her to try to remain clean and dry, and if she needs to go ask her to let you know. I would start with that and let her be in the underwear for an hour or so. If she remains dry for the whole hour, you can extend that period after a few days, or after a day, depending on how comfortable you are. You need to try to put her on the potty every hour of course. If she had an accident, then she will learn what does it mean and she will have better control next time. This helped me tremendously.
If she wasn't ready and fight it, it doesn't hurt to stop and again in a few weeks.
I would also try to put her on the potty first thing in the morning as well. Good luck!

Sounds like a positive sign! The biggest downsides I see to potty training early are that your LO will be somewhat less mature. This might mean that she's still pretty easily distractable, so she won't remember to go potty unless you remind her. (This is a key problem for my daughter.) ...or it could mean that she isn't as adept at pulling her own pants and undies down and up when she goes potty.
If you don't think your daughter will have these problems... or if you are willing to be more hands on with her throughout the potty training process, then I'd say go for it!
