Do you have a Nordstrom's near you? It is SO worth the time/money/effort to go there and get fitted properly. I've also had great experience at Bloomingdales. Probably any good department store will help you out.

Definitely try a Nordstrom's. Pre pregnancy I was a 34F and I'd try to get away with a 34DD because I was too cheap and it made my life hell!

It's soft enough that I just pull it down to nurse. It's not really pretty enough for tank tops but it's a great bra. I haven't been able to wear underwire since my first pregnancy because it's just too uncomfortable (first my belly was too big and would dig in, and then my nursing boobs would change sizes too much in one day). I've gained 30lbs in this pregnancy and I'm still in the same bra.

@periwinklebee: I think it helps that Nordstroms can order sizes for you too. So they don't always feel like they have to sell you from their in-store stock. I've had terrible fittings at Victoria's Secret and at a Dillard's where they try to sell me a 36DD because it's supposed to be a "sister size" but that's the worst thing you can do. It's guaranteed not to fit because the band has to fit for a good bra.

I've been nursing or pregnant for the last two years and just can't handle dropping $80 on a bra that might fit for three or four months.

I like American Eagle Aerie lightly lined/full coverage bras. The "Katie" is one I wear a lot.

I just wear pullover Gap bras. No underwire or cups and it works for me.
