On a recent visit to Santa my Kindergartner told Santa that he wants a robot. Does anyone have any ideas or experience in this arena? I’ve looked online but I’m not sure what to get. I asked what he wanted the robot to do; he said clean🤣. Maybe I should get a roomba!

My kindergartner got the Sikaye Remote Control Robot for Chanukah and loves it. The instructions are not very good, but it was not very expensive.

I've been looking into this one for my 4 year old - I like that it doesn't require an app to run, and it looks like it can sort of grow with them in terms of challenges to make it do.

I do a lot of work in CS education and for elementary grades I would recommend Dash or Sphero. BB-8 (which is basically a themed Sphero) would also be a good choice if he's into Star Wars. BUT that is if you're looking to use it to teach coding concepts. If you aren't, then I think you could get by with a much simpler/cheaper RC version. Ozobot is also pretty fun to play with, especially if your son likes drawing too, but he doesn't have as much educational value.

My 5 year-old wants a MiBro (thanks Ryan), because he saw it on all the YouTube videos he watches. At least it's not too expensive, so I might get it for him.
