The Bump app articles are scaring me. Today it says ingredients in my foundation and mascara are both potentially hazardous, paraben and acetate respectively. How serious of a thing is this? I hadn't heard of it until now other than knowing that people with sensitive skin avoid some of these, and I hate to buy all new everything if it's not a danger to the baby since these ingredients never bothered me. Obviously safety is most important, but I just want to be sure it's not the kind of filler they use to generate content so frequently. My doc's office gave me a booklet of info that covers what to avoid or do generally that makes me think it's the kind of thing to avoid if you have sensitive skin or want to be very cautious, but it's not a generally required kind of thing. The other day the Bump had an article about which sunscreen chemicals to avoid, and the doc's office booklet specifically says to use any over the counter sunscreen you like.

Did you change your makeup or sunscreen?
