I don't have any blazer suggestions but I would suggest that if you find something you like but aren't happy with the fit think about getting them tailored! If these are going to be staple pieces you wear a lot I think it's worth some extra money to feel great in them.

I've got a Gap Academy blazer I really like. It's a 12, I'm busty and can't really button it but I'm rolling with it.

I'd order a bunch of things from Gap/ON and Nordstrom since they have free returns too! That way you can just order, try on at home, ship it back.

@ValentineMommy: I've also found some similar from target but they don't wash well. So they only look really nice for a season/year

I like J.Crew and Banana Republic, but unless you plan on wearing a blazer almost every day I can't stomach the $$$ for their blazers are they are not that much nicer than other brands.

I have some casual blazers that I really like from the Loft outlet, which were under $60 and then I look for blazers at upscale consignment shops. Blazers are an item people buy and wear once for an interview so they are not too hard usually to pick up used. I know you said you don't want to shop with your LO, but maybe if you can call ahead to some consignment shops and target your trip it wouldn't be so bad.

Otherwise, I'd try places with great return policies for online shopping as it can be hard to tell from pictures whether a blazer will be flattering or not on you.
