A friend of mine announced her pregnancy on Facebook today. A mutual friends mom commented, "Jane, Sally and Lucy - so many babies next year!"
Lucy hasn't announced her pregnancy yet & friends mom knows this. This is typical of her though - she likes to be the center of attention and "in the know" then blab shit that isn't hers to tell. In my *wedding guest book* she wrote, "thanks for introducing Sally and Joe!" Not even a effing congrats. Not that I'm still bitter 7 years later....

My Godmom wrote on my wall after I got married something about how she was upset she had to learn I was married via FB. She must have forgot the three times I desperately tried to get her and my fiance together to meet- and she blew me off each time. GTFOH! Honestly, I thought my mom included her on a group email announcement to friends & family after my very, very small wedding. Her comment was promptly deleted!

I have a friend like this! she ALWAYS wants to be the "first" to know, even if she isn't the first, she's just the first one to spill the beans publicly. She's done that with friends engagements (posting on FB) before they finished calling people/family, she posted stuff on IG about me being pregnant before i put it on any social media (most people knew, but i didn't put it on the internet yet), it's like some kind of competition for her!

I hope your friend deletes that comment! It's unfair for anyone to share pregnancy news that's not their own... no matter who it is!

I'm so fearful of this! I locked down my wall so people can't post on it and tried to make it so I have to approve things I'm tagged in but I don't know if it works. I'm SO fearful that my in-laws will announce on FB about SIL and I and I'm friends with work and IRL people who don't know yet. I do not want them finding out from FB! So, yeah, I'm going to have to make it very, very clear to them that nothing about me whatsoever can be on FB!! Ugh for Lucy!

My MIL was given the go ahead today (just turned 12 weeks) to tell family and close friends so now I am worries about what will show up on my Facebook.

Gah. People. My parents and in laws told a bunch of people early on in my pregnancy. My SIL put the baby's name and picture on Facebook before I had even told my side of the family. I had wanted to call and tell them but couldn't right after birth. Turns out my FIL bad already texted them the baby's name and picture. I was pretty heartbroken since we gave LO my dad's name as his middle.
They were all the last to know with number two.
