When I first became a parent and saw Sophie everywhere, I couldn't place where I knew her from... and finally, FINALLY after remembering that someone thought she was a dinosaur not a giraffe, and some googling, I remembered... she was on that movie 3 Men and a Baby!! I recorded it on DVR and took pictures of the screens where you see her... haha!!

This morning my 21 mo old wanted to take Sophie to daycare. I was pretty surprised when my husband told her, "Sorry sweetie, Sophie has to stay home." I had NO idea he knew/remembered her name...LO hasn't played with her for the last year or so!!!

Ha! I just saw this recently and got overly excited about seeing Sophie in that movie. I thought for sure she was a newer thing.

My sister told me Sophie is the most popular toy in France. I met her when my sister had my niece (born in Paris, 12 years ago), she told me every French family had one.

We nicknamed ours "Claude." Isn't Sophie's origin story on the box or inner liner? She's been around awhile. Didn't realize that she's been in a movie before. LO loves to step on her and make her squeak-toddlers!
