I don't have kids, but I was a second child who didn't talk for a LONG time because my sister always spoke for me (it was to the point that my parents had me tested). Anyway, apparently when I did start talking it came out in full sentences. I also now have no problems talking and have a masters degree in accounting.

I say try not to let bug you and don't worry about it. If anything, you'll just have remind your older daughter of her manners.

I tell DS to knock it off. I say that it is DD's turn to use her words and that he needs to wait for his turn to speak. We talk about how he would feel at school if his teacher asked him to do something he likes like help with the light switch and before he could do it a friend ran over and did it first.
I also sometimes try to ask DS whatever I want to ask DD and then ask DD the same thing so he has had a turn to speak. Or as I ask DD I swivel and make eye contact with DS, raise a warning eyebrow and sign 'wait, please'

What drives me really nuts is when DS will tell me that DD wants something. Inevitably we are in the car, I don't have it, she didn't want it, but now she does desperately. Ugh.

My oldest tries and I always remind him that he needs to let brother practice using his own words.
