I am super Type A which I know is annoying to those closest to me. I was also sort of afraid to try new things as a child particularly extracurricular activities, so I hope that my child(ren) is/are more adventurous (within reason).

I hope my future children don't inherit my crazy allergies! I've been miserable lately because everything in the air this time of year sets me off!

My husband has pretty bad asthma and we really hope that with my healthy lungs that our kids won't have asthma.

I am asian, so I'm short and my caucasian husband is pretty tall. I'm not really worried about the height, though. My niece is half asian/half white and she is taller than her mom (my sister).

My husband and I do have some anxiety issues, too. I'm pretty sure our kid will, too, but I hope they don't.

I'm pretty healthy and we both hope our kids inherit my immune system.

My husband is a great artist and I'm a scientist so we definitely think on different parts of the brain. I hope our kids will be as creative as my husband and as smart as me. Not saying my husband isn't smart (he is) but I did focus more on schooling and enjoyed it schooling more then he did.

Overall, I want our kids to have all of my good qualities and all of my husbands good qualities and none of our bad. hehe

ETA: Oh, DH has some OCD tendencies. We both hope our kids don't.

I hope future LO doesn't inherit my eyes as well. They are absolutely terrible. I would cry if my future LO did. Another one would be my depression.

I hope future LO doesn't inherit Mr. Bear's procrastination.

I hope our LO doesn't get my teeth or my husband's metabolism. I also hope our LO gets a mix of our personalities. I hope he/she gets the best of both - my husbands compassion and way with words and my outgoing personality.

I hope our kids don't inherit my clumsiness, bad eyesight, or my shyness and anxiety. I also hope they don't inherit my husband's dry skin or slow metabolism.

Our teeth, though mine are far worse than DH's. His vision, my skin sensitivity, his allergies.

I get scared when I'm alone at night.. I hope my LO doesn't get my scared genes.

Yesss, I am super-type-A as well and I hope my kid(s) are a little more laid back (but still with drive to get things done).

I also really hope they don't get my skin. I've had acne since I was 11 and I still do, over 15 years later.

Type 1 diabetes (the one that is not diet/exercise-related) also runs in my family and I definitely hope they don't get that.

And I hope we can foster in them the love of fruits and vegetables! The Mister and I are awful about that, so we need to work hard to try not to pass that on.

I hope our kids get DH's height and my skin. (I'm a shorty, and DH still breaks out like a teenager.) We have a disagreement over hair. I would prefer that our kids get his hair (curly = adorable but hard to manage), and he wants them to get mine (straight, dull, but easy I guess).

I hope my kids are smarter than me. I also hope they're more confident than me. I hope they are less pessemistic than my husband and I hope they don't inherit his depression.

Otherwise, physically, they can look like either one of us and be pretty cute kids!! (Although my husband has unnaturally large feet for his size, and they're somewhat hairy [hobbit feet], it would be ok if they didn't get those)

I hope they don't get my terrible vision. Or my complete lack of coordination.
