I have naturally wavy hair that i've always HATED. It's not straight and it's not a pretty wave either. It kind of goes all over the place. And I've had to spend tons of money to get it straightened over the years. I'm praying that if I have a daughter, she won't inherit my unruly hair.
Do you or your SO have any features that you hope your little one will NOT inherit?

My husband bites his nails. I find it so gross.
I can get really pissy sometimes...I hope our LO's temperament is more even.

I always hated my nose. And my chin.
My baby has my nose (I'm pretty sure, it's not really big enough to know for sure yet) and my chin. But she manages to make them look very cute!

My husband is excessively hairy. Like really, really bad. His dad is the same way and so is his grandpa (or so I'm told..I've never asked to see to confirm this) so I hope my kids don't get that. I'm not sure how I would handle an 8 year old with a unibrow... I also hope they don't get his feelings towards school. He definitely understands the value of it, he just never enjoyed it and hates reading.
I hope my kids don't get my "can't say no" problem and end up over committing in life in order to keep others happy. I also hope my kids are much more laid back like my husband. I tend to be very type A and need things to go a certain way where my husband can just roll with the punches.

I hope they don't get my anxiety issues. And just that they won't be as generally worried all the time as I am. I hope they won't get my husband's constant lateness!!
Physically I hope they get my husband's athletic ability but I really hope if we have girls they don't get his height. Hubs is 6'6" and I'm terrified we'll have a daughter over 6 feet tall. Unless she's model pretty I think that would be really hard.

I hope our DD doesn't get DH's hair! The color is nice, but he has the type of hair that when he was little it looked like a porcupine sitting on his head. Just sticking up all over and straight and can't do anything with it! I also hope she doesn't get my "pooch". No matter how much weight I lose, I always have a belly! And big legs

We both agree we hope she doesn't get his nose. He's got a great guy nose, but it's not so great for a girl.

Hope they dont get DH's temper. Not that is aweful or anything. Just a "short fuse". He knows he has one and is SUPER good about it. Just gets quiet and calms down. But if you continue on with it and dont give him time to calm down he gets pretty snippy. Haha
his daughter does not have that (that we see yet!ha) but everything else is like a carbon copy of her daddy. When we go out people make coments about how unreal it is she looks SOoooo much like him. I find it adorable. Very tall, INTENSE blue eyes and freckles. I love it! : D

I hope s/he doesn’t get my super, super casper-white complexion. My husband has beautiful olive skin and tans nicely….I am translucent white and burn after only 10-15 minutes.
We both hope if it’s a boy, he gets my husband’s build, and if a girl, she gets mine. I’m very petite, and my husband very “man-build”, and neither build would work well on the opposite sex.

My vision is awful, I had to get glasses at 6 years old.
Our boy is pretty much screwed in the teeth department, both me and my husband had braces.
Hopefully he gets my side's hair, we have quite a few red heads and my husband's family trends towards baldness- luckily I think hairline is a maternal trait from what I understand.

I also hope my son doesn't get my side's hairline like @lemondrop. My grandfather, my dad and my brother all had receding hairlines in their 30s. SO's side all have a full set of hair so I hope my little guy inherits hair from my SO's side.
I also hope he doesn't inherit my husbands underbite. LOL

Unnatural amounts of body hair if we have a girl! My husband is so hairy. Jokes aside, I had acne and my husband had bad teeth...our poor children will have to go through the same middle school torment we did...woops

I hope they don't get my nose or my DH's ears. Or my teeth! I have a terrible bite and am on my second LONG round of braces now, and may still need jaw surgery after.
I hope they get DO get DH's eyes. BEAUTIFUL blue! My eyes are a dull blue, almost gray, while his are very bright.

@yoursilverlining I hope that too! I am very very fair and my husband is Japanese with this wonderful skin color. Liam is luckily his dads coloring with a mixture of both of our eye shapes with blue eyes. I would love if our daughter has brown eyes. I've always wanted brown eyes

I really hope my daughter gets my husband's easy-going personality. I tend to get worked up pretty easily, while he seems to handle everything thrown at him with such grace and charm.
But we both hope she doesn't end up with his nose - haha!

I'd be very happy if our LOs didn't get our bad vision (both in glasses by 14) or my horrid teeth. Hubs is super tall, 6'4", and I'm hoping that if we have a girl, she isn't that tall.

I'm another one who prays my poor children don't get my fair skin. Florida + pale skin = not fun.
I hope our baby doesn't weigh 10+lbs at birth like my husband. Other than that, there isn't much I'm worried about.

I like my nose, so I'd rather our new baby have a nose like mine, my husband's is cute in it's own way, but... yeah, I'd prefer mine LOL. That's about it honestly.

I'm hoping my daughter doesn't have my temper. It can annoy even me! If she has her father's disposition we'll be just fine, he's mellow and reasonable in all situations. But, I'm hoping she doesn't inherit his forgetfulness. Omg, drives me insane. As far as physical traits, I think the only thing I hope she doesn't get is her fathers sinus issues. And my super sensitive skin.

I hope our future LO's won't develop Mr. McB's attitude towards money ("Psssh, who cares how much it costs- I WANT it!") or his feelings about reading in general ("I hate reading- thank god I'm a plumber so I don't have to."). I also hope they don't develop my propensity for anxiety or rebellion.
Physically, I hope they don't get my hair (It's ridiculously out of control- think horse manes) or either of our skin types as we both continue to suffer from acne as adults.
They can have Mr. McB's big blue eyes...that's about it. Haha.

I hope my kids don't inherit their father's hypochondriac tendencies. My baby coughs and my husband is rushing him to the walk in clinic or in Saturday night's case, the ER.
I also hope that they are not worriers like me.
