I'd get the medium personally. If you buy the liners for them (which are great!) they make them fit even better. If you find they are still a little big at that point, you can also put your little guy in a thicker sock or even a pair of Robeez. Stonz are great boots, and if you get a medium, he will be able to wear them next winter with only the liners and a thin sock.

They were great for us last winter in Edmonton, where it routinely gets to - 30

We had them for both our girls and looooved them. They do need an adult to do up the toggles, and in both cases we just got large (and wore Padraig booties on the inside instead of liners), and they were great. Then when inside, we could just take off the booties and keep the Padraigs on. It worked really nicely!

The only thing is that they don't have a lot of grip to them. So that during the shoulder season when things were getting a little slick it was pretty rough out there, but on snow instead of ice, we were very happy with them!

H&m has a cheaper version with Velcro that worked well for us!

We just got some from a friend- they're in the wash. I'll try them on K (who is also a size 3) and I will let you know!

@.twist.: I bought his online! We don't have one in store. They were definitely walkable and I actually put them over his shoes

@.twist.: She walked just fine in them! If anything, she walked better than she would have in normal winter boots because her foot was able to conform to the ground better.
