I noticed on the thread about strollers without carseats a lot of people seem to like the bassinet attachments. We plan on buying a b-ready next month during the free ride even where we can get a bassinet or a couple other items for free.

I had been debating getting the bassinet, but I'd come to the conclusion we wouldn't get much use out of it, but now I'm wondering if that's true. We'll have a November baby (in Boston), and we live in an area where we drive a lot, so if we were to use the stroller we'd have LO in the carseat, then we'd have to take him out, pull out the stroller and attach the bassinet, and then take him out of the carseat to put him in.

So for all the people who love bassinets, is that because you had summer babies? Can you think of a time that it's convenient to use them, other than walks around the neighborhood?
