I know there's a lot of #feelthebern on HB and so much buzz in the media about his ideas and plans for free healthcare, free college, etc. and I'm really curious what appeals to folks about him! Do you believe he'll be able to implement these programs if he is elected?

I wonder about the job loss from universal healthcare. What happens to everyone who works for an insurance company? Are those hundreds of thousands of people just SOL? What about people who work for hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, or in any other facet of healthcare? They'll all be drastically impacted, not that that is an excuse to not pursue universal healthcare, but I do wonder what would happen to those industries and the folks who are employed in those industries.

I don't have even the tiniest bit of belief he'll be able to take on an oppositional congress, industry lobbyists, and a country that is extremely divisive on these issues.

I'd love to hear more about how you've come to support Bernie and what your thoughts are on what he will be able to accomplish if elected. I've seen several Republican friends #feelthebern and I am so curious! I've also read several articles about why young Republicans are flocking to Sanders and it's all very intriguing to me!

Please, please be civil! I think it can be really fun to have these kinds of threads, when everyone acts like an adult!
