I feel like I've gone overboard on day care posts/questions the last month or so. Obviously my kid's not the first one to attend day care, and in retrospect I feel a little bit silly for all of the silly questions Thanks for all the answers, advice and support!

Today was the first day. It was a full day, and I only stayed for a few minutes at drop-off. I kissed him and said bye-bye, and he said "byyyyyee" and didn't look at me, lol. I had to step back in and ask his teacher something, and he tried to leave with me, but one of the teachers led him away from the door. She said he didn't even whine at all, he went right back to playing!

It was a bit harder for me. This is a big new chapter in our lives, and he doesn't really get that, but I do. I'm excited to read it, but I'm sad to be closing the last one. I felt that this morning.

I don't start my new job for another week, so I didn't have work to distract me. It was nice to do some leisurely grocery shopping today, though!

He did great! I was worried about his nap, because he really doesn't nap well unless he's in his own crib. His teacher said he fought it for a while, but he slept for almost an hour and a half!

Anyway, thanks for the patience with me!

I know a lot of you have seen this on IG already, but proud mama wants to show it again
