K said "Bye, love you" to DH today as we were waving him off to work. She's been signing I love you for a while, but hearing it in her sweet little voice was just the best. I know she doesn't understand what it means yet, but I'm still melting over here

Yep, last month! I LUH YOU night night! HEART melting... and now he says it pretty much with every hug and kiss. He's 21 months

I don't remember exactly when it started...maybe 21-22 months? We yell "I luh you!" back and forth at each other (well not yell, but it's exclaimed loudly!)

Yes a few months ago! At around 20 months. We always say "i love you" when she is going to bed for the night and one night she said "i yuv you too!" And I just about burst into tears! And now its a little ritual we have. And so then I say "i love YOU too!" And she says it back...back and forth a few times. It never gets old.

Can't remember the first time but I love that now at 20 months she says it on her own all the time. Still not sure she knows what it means but she will say it and give us kisses

Awww! That's such a sweet thing to hear! My son randomly said "love you" at like 19 months and put out his cheek for a kiss He still isn't talking much, so it was very out of the blue. So awesome!

she hasn't said it at 19 months, but now i keep repeating it to her! she hasn't really said any phrases beyond thank you.

LO started around 3 weeks ago saying it, but still usually just when we say it to her. She says wuv-oo!
