Yes, I knew this. I've always loved the book and it means even more to me. Robert Munsch is such a great storyteller too.

It's so sad!! I don't think i could read it to E without crying, so it's not on our bookshelf.

I literally cannot even think about this book without crying! I have absolutely never been creeped out by it - it always just makes me think of the unconditional love that a parent has for their child.

My mom read it to me all the time when I was little, and always told me "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living, my baby you'll be" every single night before I went to bed.

Every day when I take my dog on a walk, I rub my growing belly and tell my baby that I'll love him forever, I'll like him for always, as long as I'm living, my baby he'll be. And I mean it
