DS is 2 and I think he needs a helmet! We've been outside a ton lately since the weather has gotten warmer and he loves playing with his wagon and ride-on toys. I was thinking of getting him a helmet because he's come very very close to taking tumbles out of the wagon/off his ride-on toys, onto the driveway!
Any suggestions?

Do you take him on a bike at all? We have a Giro bike helmet for my 2.5yo and really like it. She started wearing it last summer at around 20m and it seems like it will grow with her for quite a while.

I'm curious about this because a lot of the good brands I researched im not sure if I can find in store at Target, Toys R'Us etc. but I know I need to take her in person for a proper fit. We have a hand me down from my niece right now that I haven't used because I think it's way too big for her.
Does anyone know How to know the helmet is the right fit?

Another vote for Giro! I like that it's adjustable and fits snug on LO's head. It fits both my 1 year old and almost 4 year old.

@regberadaisy: Do you have any bike stores by you? The employees at most shops I've been to are usually very helpful.
