Chocolate syrup should mask the taste or let her put sprinkles on top of a dose of medicine

ETA - what med is she on? Pharmacy can always flavor it if it's the taste

It may not work if she's vomiting, but our daughter hates medicine and we mix a dose in a small amount of baby food or add it to some grape juice.

This sounds overly simplistic, but I just explain to my kids what they are getting medicine for, why it will help them feel better, etc. They had to take an anti-emetic when they wouldn't stop vomiting the other day and I explained that it might not taste good, but they needed to try to be brave and drink it so they could stop throwing up. They both drank it really fast. Also, I let them choose whether they use a syringe or cup (when possible) and we play doctor while I'm pouring it out. They check each other's heart beats, etc. then I say "ok dr, please give this to your patient." They hand the medicines to each other (so each one is the dr to the other) and then drink it. This is making my kids seem really reasonable, but I promise they are not usually. We have fought and held them down to get them to take meds before and it was a disaster. So changing the way I approach the whole medication thing has helped a lot.

I have found it easiest to give my kids medicine with a spoon. Syringe, they'd spit out; and dosage cup, the medicine tends to be thick so it'd come out too slow. I first measure out the medicine into a dosage cup and pour that into a spoon so they can swallow it right away.

We make a really big celebration when my son tastes it or takes a little bit. We woo hoo! Dance around, high five, etc. A BIG deal of it. He gets a kick out of it and takes more so we do it again. It may just be him, but it definitely worked!

Mashed up fruit popsicle like bar. Couple bites then medicine then chase with a few bites. Do everything quickly. Also worked with sorbet.

My mom always mixed it with spoonful of jam. It was such a decadent thing, that we had no problem taking anything.

When DS1 was around 2 or 3, I couldn't get him to take medicine. If I forced him, he'd throw it up. I had to figure out what food he would eat no matter what. The best thing I could think of that would hold the medicine was donuts. So I went to DD and got thing of munchkins, not the dense cake munchkins, and filled two of them with the meds 2x a day. Yes, a lot of delicious sugary, fried dough but it was the only thing that worked.
