@JoJoGirl: thanks. I still think about it every single day. I actually did a guest blot about it on here. I just never thought it would happen to us. When we were supposed ti find out what we were having, we found out there was no heartbeat. I happened to be at the appointment alone because hubby was working. Awful. But we are working it through. Every day we take it moment by moment. It's all you can do.

@sweetchic: Are you charting? On average, the luteal phase (time between ovulation and period) is 14 days after ovulation, so you can figure out how long yours is by counting the days between your ovulation and your period. That should be fairly consistant from cycle to cycle.

@Grace: @JoJoGirl: Thanks ladies! Best wishes to you both on this cycle, too!

To everyone: How many DPO are you supposed to test? I have the early predictor tests at home so does that mean I can test like 10 DPO?
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@Modern Daisy: Some people test at 10dpo (or even 9) but the likelihood of a positive is pretty low then. I think most people get their positives more likely by 12dpo or later.

I really think the time spent waiting for O is worse than the TWW. On CD3 it feels like it's never going to be time to POAS again...
cantaloupe / 6397 posts
@Modern Daisy: My sister got her bfp at 9 dpo, I didn't get one until 14 dpo, and I tested on 8, 9, and 12 dpo. I would wait until 12 dpo for sure.
cantaloupe / 6730 posts
@Modern Daisy: I always wait until Day 13. That way, I figure it should pick it up with the sensitive test. I don't test earlier because if it's negative I just end up making myself crazy, because "it might just have been too early to test".

I O'd on Sunday! CD 13 if you start counting on the day I started bleeding when I mc'd at 5 weeks on June 5th. That would make me 2 DPO right now and I will POAS on July 1st.

Well, ladies, I may be out this month. I started 4 days early, which might throw off our timing this month. I whined about it for an hour and then I told Hubby I wasn't going to stress anymore. His response, "I think that's a good thing. Who knows, it may be perfect timing this month and we only need one time for it to be the right time." He is such a good man. I was seriously about to lose it. I've never started early! Ever! So, this was a surprise and throws a kink into my plans, but I'm going to go with it and not stress. (I'll let you know how I do. )

AF just arrived which is really discouraging. My cycles since getting off the pill have been 64 days, 21 days and now 19 days. At least I can start OPK'ing now and try for real in June/July. It will be my first official TTC month!

@Modern Daisy: that's incredibly frustrating. Have you talked to your doctor??
@Jennimac: Oh no! That sucks I hope it all works out anyway. Fingers crossed!!
grapefruit / 4187 posts
@sslm: I haven't talked to my doctor yet, but I made an appointment for July 5th. It's only two weeks away, so I will hopefully get some answers soon.

Hi ladies! I'm joining you since I am now at CD 1 of our 7th cycle. I just did two Clomid cycles which appears to have helped my short cycles and given me a better O. I am not going to take Clomid this month to see how my body responds naturally. Hope this is a good month for us all!

@bluestriped bee: Hi! Could you please add me to the list the next time you update. I expect to POAS on July 14. Thanks!!!

CD13, bring on the O! I brought my OPK to work with me today so I wouldn't have to wait til I got home from acupuncture tonight to pee on it.... I think I'm a POAS addict I haven't gotten a positive OPK til closer to CD16 the last 2 months so hoping to regulate out a little this time around.

Hey ladies! Diablo teased me last month by showing up a day late (even though I could feel my body gearing up for it). I've always been regular so when it didn't show on Monday, it played with my mind and heart. So here we go again!
My estimated O date: July 6
POAS/AF date: July 20 (POAS since that'll be two weeks from O) / July 23 (AF is due to arrive)
TTC cycle: 3 (hopefully third time's the charm????)
cherry / 123 posts
I'll join in
My estimated O date: According to my OPK& temps, I ovulated yesterday - 6/20
POAS/AF date: 7/6
TTC cycle: Month 10
Trying anything new this month: My doctor is having me take a 2 month break from Clomid - this is my second month off, and I will go back on it for 2 more months if we don't conceive this month. I'm doing the "Blood Sugar Solution" diet, plus some herbal supplements to try to naturally control my PCOS. I also had an HSG done, so maybe that kind of cleared out my tubes
Good luck to everyone!

@Alivoo01: I hope 3rd time's the charm for you too!!! Let's get us some BFPs in July
@loveletter: Welcome! I hope this is your month!!!
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
@sslm: Thanks girl! You too!!
Trying anything new this month: trying to stay on my back as much as possible and doing the pillow/legs up in the air thing! I'm at the point that I'll do anything to increase my chances this month!!

@JoJoGirl: there have Bern some posts about hiding your pee cup and opk when you are at work! Too funny!!!
@Alivoo01: don't forget about the pp (lpregnancy position)from jholler! It's had a very success rate from everyone who has tried it. Like, almost 100%!!!!
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@Jennimac: Luckily I work in a medical clinic so there are plenty of pee cups here already OMG yesterday I managed to pee all over myself while using the OPK... so embarassing. Negative, though. Trying again today, CD14.

@Jennimac: hubby and I attempted that position last month and for some reason it wasn't "comfortable" so we proceeded to another position. I need to re-read and be more familiar with it. LOL!
pomelo / 5073 posts
@JoJoGirl: fingers crossed! I've totally peed on myself too.
@sslm: we are too! Hubby is excited because it's one of his faces.
@Alivoo01: I have to modify it since we have a big height difference.

AF arrived last night...but not sure if its because i had my implanon removed yesterday...dr said it would be fine...we will see if this is a real cycle or not...
@SSLM what is the PP position??? i think i have read about it but cant remember...
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
@Jennimac: mind sharing how y'all modified it because there's a height difference between me and the hubby also. That's why we just gave up and did a different position.
pomelo / 5073 posts
@Alivoo01: we stand on the side of the bed and I will sometimes stand on the bedrail or we will get a small stool. We have a couch that is the right height for me to lean over and it keeps me off of my toes, but it works for that purpose.
Sidenote: my husband would die if he knew I told everyone which positions we use.

@kentuckygirl: You're on the list.
I'm in my fertile period. O date is on saturday but DH is having some performance issues. I don't know if this will be our cycle. I was hoping we would get pregnant after my HSG. Ugh..

Wedding on June 30 ... so I guess that means July 15 is our day to test.

@Jennimac: Girl, my hubby doesn't know I dish out everything about us TTC here either, and I'm sure he'd flip! Thanks for sharing your modification though. I'll have to see if I can convince the hubby to give it another try.

@bluestriped bee: Please add me! I got my positive OPK yesterday and think I'll be Oing today. I plan to test at 11DPO, which will be July 3, our third anniversary.

Vent of the day: I hate not being able to drink anything and holding it all afternoon to pee on a OPK stick. Why do the men just get to have all the fun???
